Paimon: Oh no! Prison Lumine's been bewitched by an evil blondie!
The Paimon across from them also noticed the commotion. She poked her head out of Mo Wang's arms and immediately saw Lumine—and herself.
"Huh, huh, huh?!" The Paimon opposite them stared with eyes as round as saucers. "You, you, you! Why do you look exactly like me?!"
"That's what I should be asking you!" The Paimon on this side stamped her feet in midair in agitation. "Who are you?! Why are you pretending to be me?!"
"I'm not pretending! I'm me!" the other Paimon said, planting her hands on her hips. "If anything, you're the fake one!"
"You're the fake one! Your whole family's fake!"
The two Paimons glared at each other across the air, as if sparks were crackling between them.
Lumine stared blankly at the scene, her brain plunging into complete chaos.
She looked at the Paimon beside her, then at the Paimon in Mo Wang's arms across from her, then at Mo Wang's equally bewildered face, then at Mimi in Mo Wang's arms...
"Wait." Lumine pressed a hand to her forehead. "I need to calm down."
She took a deep breath and tried hard to get her brain working again.
First, she had used the Stellaron to make a wish, wanting to see her brother.
Then the Stellaron had erupted, and her brother had fallen out of the spatial passage.
After that, two more little things had fallen out of the passage—one was a creature she didn't recognize, and the other was... another Paimon.
