Background / History

Jiang Yao began as a Lingtong youth whose spirit-reader talent was considered mediocre. His exceptional willpower assessment nevertheless drew widespread attention among the Lingtong Race, as well as resentment from his former school rival, Mo Li. 6 10

At the Planetary Level, he forcibly opened the Xu Yuan Space through the Xu Yuan Opening. The process nearly killed him and consumed part of his potential and lifespan, but transformed his soul and made advanced cultivation techniques extraordinarily easy for him to comprehend. 9 14

The Yanhe Lineage recognized his potential and invested heavily in him, including a D-grade nutrient pod. Jiang Yao then confronted the Lingtong bloodline barrier, choosing to forge the Boat of Guidance rather than rely on conventional methods.
