Background / History
Originally a Fish King among Jiang Xing's Golden-Veined Koi, Little Dragon was cultivated toward dragonhood through dragon-type resources, training, and the story of carp leaping over the Dragon Gate. It ultimately crossed the gate and transformed into a small Golden-Scaled Rainbow Dragon, becoming the first known Rainbow Dragon Cub 7 10.
Its evolution became a viral public event and established the Rainbow Dragon Cub as a new True Dragon evolutionary form for the common Golden-Veined Koi. Jiang Xing later contracted it and gave it the joking name “Shiny Gyarados (Original Form),” though the cub appeared confused by the name 11 12 58.
Little Dragon sought strength beyond its initial evolution, aspiring to become a True Dragon like the Azure Dragon it had seen while learning the Dragon Sacrifice Dance. It regularly trained, fought other dragon cubs around the institute, and became recognized as the flock’s “Dragon King” 17 67.
During a visit to the Azure Dragon Secret Realm, its ambition became clear: rather than becoming omnipotent alone, it wanted to become the most extreme dragon while standing alongside Jiang Xing and its companions. It later pushed beyond its evolution criteria on the Heavenly Ladder, overcame Azure Dragon's test, and evolved into the Aurora Dragon King 130 141.
Appearance
In its Rainbow Dragon Cub form, Little Dragon is a miniature True Dragon approximately wrist-thick and just over one meter long. It has a serpentine body, rainbow-light dragon whiskers, and an exceptionally soft light-based “dragon fur” that Jiang Xing compares to foam 10 12.

Personality
Little Dragon is ambitious, battle-loving, and intensely determined. Its desire to become stronger began with its wish to become a genuine dragon; later, it set its sights on becoming the most extreme dragon possible 17 130.
It is emotionally expressive and food-motivated, becoming distraught when its Dragon Lychee Cubes were stolen but immediately cheering up when promised better-tasting replacements. It initially wanted revenge on the Lucky Cloud Qilin, then lost its anger after seeing the Qilin's appearance and circumstances 15 16.
As the dragon flock’s leader, it is competitive and assertive toward other Rainbow Dragon Cubs. However, it also values its companions and does not see itself as a solitary dragon 67 84 130.
