Background

The White World is a world broadly identical to the Black World, but whose history diverged after a key difference altered the lives and choices of its inhabitants. The Contrast Canopy identifies it as the home world of Holy Angel Emperor Qian Xunji and broadcasts its events alongside those of the Black World for comparison 1 5.

Its terrain corresponds to that of the Black World. After gaining access to the Black World, Qian Xunji navigates by relying on this shared geography, locating Black World Martial Soul City from his memories in less than half a day 229.

Contrast Canopy comparison

The Contrast Canopy selects White World Qian Xunji and Black World Qian Xunji as its first comparison subjects. Its broadcasts expose the radically different outcomes produced by their respective worlds, drawing reactions from inhabitants on both sides 1 2 5.

The White World's Qian Xunji is shown as unusually intelligent from infancy, pursuing study and physical training before awakening a Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul with innate level 20 soul power at age six 5 7. Rise of Martial Soul Hall

Qian Xunji deliberately allows the threat to persist long enough for other powers to recognize that they cannot manage it alone. He uses the resulting crisis to demand expanded authority for Martial Soul Hall while presenting it as the force capable of restoring order 137 172 176.

Founding of the Angel Empire

After the Spirit Hall Empire defeats the Rakshasa Cult and Evil Soul Masters, including the fall of Jialing Pass, it unifies the Douluo Continent. Qian Xunji becomes its first emperor and renames the state the Angel Empire 228.

The empire's consolidation includes policies said to benefit commoners, while its military intervention earns support from civilians seeking safety and stability. Nobles and high-ranking Soul Masters frequently view the same expansion as opportunistic hegemony 193 206 228.

Interdimensional expansion

Following the final comparison, the Heavenly Screen grants Qian Xunji access to a spacetime channel leading to the Black World 228 229. He first enters the Black World with Snow Empress and Ice Empress, assumes leadership of its Martial Soul Hall, and later deploys Angel Empire forces through the rift 229 230 231.

By the end of the story, Qian Xunji unifies the Black World's continent as well. The Angel Empire consequently spans both worlds 240.
