Background

Beibei is a Shrek Academy student, a direct descendant of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, and one of the Outer Court's “Twin Stars.” He encounters Huo Yuhao and Tang Ya in the Star Dou Great Forest while seeking a Datura Snake for Tang Ya. He initially approaches Huo Yuhao with courtesy and offers compensation rather than attempting to take the slain beast by force 6.

Impressed by Huo Yuhao's twin martial souls and elemental potential, Beibei considers him vital to reviving the declining Tang Sect. He also guards Tang Ya while she absorbs the Datura Snake's soul ring 6 8.

Tang Ya's later disappearance devastates Beibei. Unaware that she has aligned herself with Akatsuki, he searches for her and blames the masked man Menma for taking her away 53. When Tang Ya reappears as “Zetsu,” she openly rejects him and attacks him with Wood Release, shattering his belief that she needs to be rescued from Akatsuki 138 139.

His attachment to Tang Ya becomes his defining motivation after her disappearance. He repeatedly vows to find her, destroy Akatsuki, and force its members to reveal her location; this determination increasingly borders on obsession 53 214 324. He is also deeply prideful about his lineage, status as Mu En's descendant, and dragon-type martial soul, making him prone to impulsive challenges and resentment when surpassed by Huo Yuhao 236 316 323.

Beibei and Tang Ya meet Huo Yuhao in the Star Dou Great Forest and request the Datura Snake he killed. To establish their claim, Beibei displays Thunderbolt; Huo Yuhao analyzes the technique with his Sharingan and creates Lightning Release: Lightning Prison from it 6.

Tang Ya's Disappearance

After Tang Ya vanishes, Beibei becomes increasingly distraught and directs his hatred toward Menma and Akatsuki. He continues believing that Tang Ya must be rescued despite her deliberate decision to oppose Shrek and maintain the appearance of reconciliation 24 53.

White Tiger Family Confrontation

Beibei arrives at the ruins of the White Tiger Family and finds Tang Ya serving Akatsuki as Zetsu. When he pleads for her return, she attacks him with Wood Release, inflicting severe injuries before Huo Yuhao withdraws his forces 138 139.

Tournament Defeats and Rivalry

Beibei repeatedly attempts to prove himself against powerful opponents. He is severely burned after intercepting Yu Mengdi's Angel Holy Flame, later loses alongside Xu Sanshi to Meng Hongchen, and is easily defeated by Gu Yuena after boasting of being the strongest dragon soul master 236 272 316.

Yu Xiaogang's Disciple

Martial Soul Loss and Long Xiaoyao's Training

During the conflict with Huo Yuhao's faction, Bai Xiuxiu devours Beibei's Martial Soul Origin, causing his Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon to degrade into a San Pao-like form 359 368. Long Xiaoyao subsequently takes him as a disciple, uses Mu En's Dragon Core to restore his martial soul, and trains him while promising retaliation against Akatsuki 369 370.

Holy Spirit Cult Period

Following Long Xiaoyao's severe injuries, Beibei is taken to the Holy Spirit Cult headquarters and trained by Zhongli Wu. Long Xiaoyao later intends to bring him into an ancient dragon-clan secret realm in the Sun Moon Empire, where Beibei hopes to obtain an inheritance and become the next Dragon God Douluo 388.
