Origin and Chosen Name

Di Qiulin originates as the Emperor Auspicious Beast of the Star Dou Great Forest. Before taking human form, she willingly undergoes Attribute Induction with Huo Yuhao, binding their fates and gaining access to his power and fragments of his memories 289 321 377.

She chooses her own name upon transforming. Di represents both her Auspicious Beast identity and Di Tian, who treats her like a daughter. Qiu comes from “Autumn of Star Dou,” her exclusive forest title. Lin represents the forest and a sound she instinctively believes Huo Yuhao especially likes 289.

Leaving the Forest

Determined to find Huo Yuhao, she leaves a decoy behind and attempts to sneak out of the forest. Gu Yuena intercepts her and warns that the fortune of the Spirit Beast clan depends on her safety. Di Qiulin openly refuses to surrender control of her fate 289.

Gu Yuena ultimately accompanies her under the guise of an infiltration mission, asking to be addressed as “big sister.” Privately, Gu Yuena intends to use the reunion to approach Huo Yuhao, recover the Ancient Dragon Jade, and gain access to Dragon Valley 289.

Shrek Selection and Special Training

During Shrek’s Inner Court selection, Di Qiulin rejects Wu Feng’s recruitment offer and defeats her through Golden Dragon bloodline suppression and physical force. She then overcomes Ning Tian’s enhanced teammates and forces Ning Tian to surrender at spearpoint 312 313.

Her confrontation with Bai Xiuxiu and Su Tong demonstrates the gap between her cultivation and actual strength: their ice defenses fail against her spear, and Bai Xiuxiu survives her follow-up punch only by transforming into water. Huo Yuhao’s Departure and Liberation from Divine Sense

When Huo Yuhao leaves Shrek, Di Qiulin pursues him despite Zhang Lexuan’s intervention and his own cold rejection. Their confrontation becomes a fierce battle in the Valley of the End, where she attempts to stop him from leaving while he seeks an opportunity to remove the hidden Divine Sense in her mind 345 346.

Huo Yuhao uses the Totsuka Blade, together with Gu Yuena’s reactivated seal, to extract and imprison Tang Wutong’s Divine Sense. Di Qiulin survives, but is injured and exhausted. He puts her to sleep, apologizes for altering or erasing her memories, and entrusts her care to Gu Yuena and Zi Ji 348.

Mu En’s Assassination and Independent Journey

Di Qiulin returns to Shrek disguised as Lin, a black-haired girl with purple facial markings. Hearing Wu Ming call Huo Yuhao a traitor provokes her into abandoning the disguise and attacking the students sent against her 355 356.

She storms Sea God Pavilion and publicly kills Mu En using her spatial power. Huo Yuhao rescues her into the Kamui Dimension before the assembled elders can overwhelm her. News of the assassination earns her the continent-wide title “Di Qiulin of the Sharingan” 363 364 370.

Inside the Kamui Dimension, she returns her left-eye Kamui power to Huo Yuhao and chooses to grow stronger independently. They arrange to meet two and a half years later. During her travels, she challenges major sects and develops new techniques 364 446.

Joining Akatsuki and Leading the Ten Blades

Di Qiulin reunites with Huo Yuhao in Dragon City, recognizes him despite his fox mask, and greets him with a Rasengan attack. Afterward, she confesses her desire to fight beside him permanently, and he formally welcomes her into Akatsuki 445 457.

Di Tian objects to her remaining with Huo Yuhao instead of returning to the forest. Huo Yuhao refuses his demand to submit to a test, while Di Qiulin continues pursuing her chosen relationship and path 457 458.

During a later Perfect Susanoo clash, their connected inner worlds reveal that Di Qiulin’s image stands closest to Huo Yuhao. Parallel-World Auspicious Beast and Dragon Valley

When the parallel-world Dai Yuhao mistakes her for Qiu’er, Di Qiulin rejects the identification. She also refuses Tang Wutong’s claim that she should surrender her fortune and existence, explicitly asserting that she is Di Qiulin, not Wang Qiu’er 508 509.

She later attacks Dai Yuhao over his treatment of Wang Qiu’er, destroying his Eye of Destiny and remaining eyes. Wang Qiu’er’s remnant soul briefly intervenes from within his body and escapes after Di Qiulin pierces his chest 515.

Huo Yuhao rescues that remnant soul and makes her Di Qiulin’s ninth-ring Soul Spirit. Di Qiulin names her Qiunai, insisting that she is an equal partner rather than another person’s shadow. Her affection for Huo Yuhao is possessive and sometimes reckless. She treats Wang Dong’er, Bai Xiuxiu, and Xu Jiujiu as romantic rivals, boasts about close personal instruction, and becomes furious when others slander him.
