The Darkness of the Planet

Masaki Keigo came to a realization. If what they said was true, then all those seemingly contradictory, inexplicable details in the original TV series now had logical answers.

"It was to make humanity of the past recognize the external threat known as the 'Radical Destruction Bringer' ahead of time, forcing them to cast aside their mutual suspicion and opposition, unite, and face the crisis together.

"The birth of the Alchemy Stars, Takayama Gamu and Fujimiya Hiroya gaining power and becoming Ultramen—those were probably all guided by you as well."

The principle behind making all this happen was not actually complicated.

Since the future "Humanity Unified Consciousness" was deeply bound to the future will of Earth, it would be easy to transmit information to Earth in the past through the planet itself, that vast collective of quantum souls.

In the original work, Earth's photon quantum computer had received a message from the Radical Destruction Bringer predicting humanity's extinction.

It was also at that moment that Fujimiya Hiroya, carrying disappointment and anger toward humanity, received the light of Earth's deep blue ocean and transformed into Ultraman Agul.

That in itself was an extremely contradictory matter.

Takayama Gamu believed that humanity possessed limitless potential, allowing him to receive the light of Earth's crimson land and become Gaia.

Fujimiya Hiroya believed humanity was a "virus" polluting Earth and had to be purged, yet he too received Earth's power and became Agul.

Two utterly opposing ideals were acknowledged by the same Earth and granted power sufficient to change the world.

Such a contradiction made no sense from the perspective of natural selection.

But if the Radical Destruction Bringer—humanity's will from the future—had been directing everything behind the scenes, then it all became explainable.
