Founding and early rule

Takigakure was founded in the Land of Waterfalls after the major nations began establishing ninja villages. Amamiya Ruri, regarded as the Land of Waterfalls' strongest ninja, became its First Takikage despite resistance from village elders and limited initial prestige. 1 289

Ruri consolidated his position by crippling Kubi Ichiro and Hagane Maomori rather than killing them, preserving the new village's scarce combat strength. He then used the Five Kage Summit to establish Takigakure's legitimacy among the major villages. 1 2 6

Growth and modernization
