Meeting of the Darkness Element Sovereigns

The attendant heard this and did not block him further, nor did he show any panic; he simply asked Lincoln to wait a moment. One of the attendants immediately went inside to report. To them, if a Sovereign did not reveal their pressure, they could not judge their strength, but they believed no Sovereign would dare to lie in front of Orf.

Before long, Lincoln saw Sovereign Power of Fate gathering before him, forming an energy avatar in the shape of an old man in white robes.

"Greetings, Sovereign!" Lincoln bowed immediately.

Orf stroked his beard and smiled, "I was quite surprised when they said the Darkness Sovereign Lincoln had arrived, and I even exchanged words with Dark. It seems the Darkness Element Sovereigns are finally complete." As he spoke, he invited Lincoln inside, "I am currently conducting research, so I can only greet you with an energy avatar."

It had to be said that Orf truly gave off a very easygoing impression, but Lincoln, knowing his true identity, dared not trust him.

Following Orf through the winding paths of the August Garden, they finally entered a room. Inside the room were eight seats: two at the head, and three on each side below. "Today is a joyous occasion, which is why I specifically invited the Darkness Sovereign Dark and the other Darkness Sovereigns over. It has been many years since the Darkness Element Sovereigns were all gathered together. Lincoln, you don't mind, do you?" Orf smiled.

"Actually, it is quite a pleasant surprise!" Lincoln also smiled. Could he really afford to mind?

At this moment, a female Lowgod Sovereign offered her congratulations from the third seat on the left, "Congratulations to you, Lord Lincoln, on becoming a member of the Sovereigns."

"Regarding this matter, it is very strange. I heard about it from Lady Vivian previously, but I truly discovered this Main God Spark for the first time in the Material Plane. No Sovereign gave me a Main God Spark, and I have sworn an oath to the Overgod of Destruction in front of Lady Vivian regarding all these circumstances," Lincoln said slowly, taking the opportunity to bring up Vivian.

"He secretly refined my Main God Spark; does that not count as an offense?" Augusta insisted. "Besides, we already possess a Soul Defense Supreme Artifact. I don't understand why you still insist on following the Sovereign Agreement. We should just slaughter those three Sovereigns!"

"Stop. When will you ever be able to calm down?" Orf restrained him. "When has he ever offended you? Attacking him is a violation of the Sovereign Agreement!"

Being a Paragon Sovereign was fine, but being a Paragon Midgod Sovereign left one in an awkward position when facing Sovereigns—not quite high enough, but not low enough either.

Lincoln smiled helplessly, "Although the outside world rumors that I am a suspected Paragon, I am ashamed to say that even after refining the Main God Spark, enjoying endless faith power, and creating a Divine Plane, I have not been able to break through to the Paragon realm. As for the fusion level of my other divine clones, it is not even as good as my Darkness divine clone." He had indeed not reached the Paragon realm through faith power or the creation of a Divine Plane.

Orf possessed a Material and Soul Defense Supreme Artifact, making him inherently invincible. Even if the other Sovereigns were equal to Orf in attack, Orf could completely abandon defense and attack with all his might, while the others could not. "I just heard from Feibu that you were previously a Sovereign Envoy of the Life Sovereign, yet you refined the final Darkness Midgod Sovereign Spark. But I remember clearly that many years ago, Lord Augusta killed Aikes and kept his Main God Spark. Could it be that the Life Sovereign requested this Main God Spark for you?" Aridona had a handsome face and a tall figure; rumor had it he was a blood-kin being.

"I haven't even figured out the situation. The interspatial ring that held the Main God Spark, and even the box inside the ring, were perfectly fine. The seal on the box was still intact—no one but a Sovereign could open it. I just don't understand how the Main God Spark inside could have disappeared!" Augusta roared as well. "Orf, why don't I just kill this Lincoln and take the Main God Spark back?"

Lincoln listened and matched them one by one. Aurore and Tartarus had unclear stances for now; Feibu and Riddle were clearly leaning toward the Darkness Sovereign, as whether or not one was a Paragon determined if Dark could hold sway among the Darkness Sovereigns—Aikes was a cautionary tale.

As for this Aridona...

Here it comes! Lincoln looked at Aridona; he was clearly of Orf's faction.

The thin, small Sovereign in the second seat on the left also smiled, "I had long heard that the Life Sovereign's envoy was a suspected Paragon. I didn't expect that upon meeting Lord Lincoln today, you would already be a Midgod Sovereign. Congratulations, congratulations!"

At this point, Orf interrupted, "Don't just chat. Lincoln, the ones who spoke just now are, in order, Aurore, Feibu, Riddle, and Tartarus. They are all Darkness Lowgod Sovereigns. Beside me is the Darkness Sovereign Dark, and opposite you is the Darkness Midgod Sovereign Aridona."

Only Orf and Augusta were communicating via soul transmission. "Augusta, what is wrong with you? You even managed to lose a Main God Spark!"

Orf sighed, "Augusta, you don't understand. This world is like a cage... and stop plotting against Lincoln's Main God Spark. To be able to take a Main God Spark from your interspatial ring, I suspect it was done by the Supreme Beings. Perhaps they do not tolerate Main God Sparks remaining idle for too long..."

Augusta was silent for a moment. "I understand, but I don't agree, and I don't think it's necessary. The Supreme Beings have never interfered in the slaughter of Sovereigns. As for this Main God Spark, if you say we shouldn't take it, then so be it, but we cannot let this brat get away without paying a price!"

The soul exchange between Orf and Augusta took only a few breaths.
