Background / History

Long before the descent of the Sovereign Sparks, Orf had already become a Paragon High-God—the first known being in the world to reach that realm. Uterede later credits Orf's talent as exceptional even among the ancient Sovereigns. 61

Orf belonged to the Bula Clan, whose members can divide their personality into two Divine Clones. Orf retained the calm, virtuous, research-focused side of his personality, while Augusta carried its violent, ambitious, and malicious traits. Their differing soul auras concealed that they were two halves of the same being. 127 180

As Fate Chief Sovereign, Orf established the August Garden in the Heavenly Realm. Unlike most Sovereigns' residences, it was open to Deities, divine beasts, and Sovereigns who could contribute to his research; those without strength or unusual value, however, could face hostility from his retainers. 13

Orf spent countless years studying living beings, Innate Divine Abilities, blood essence, and methods of increasing combat power. His interest in the Four Divine Beasts' essence blood was a principal cause of their downfall, as he sought to use it to research the fusion of Innate Divine Abilities. 5

Orf normally appears as an elderly man in white robes, with white eyebrows and a long beard. He maintains a warm, scholarly demeanor that conceals his status as one of the world's most dangerous Sovereigns. 14 87

He studies others' battle projections, blood essence, talents, and weaknesses; his interest in Lincoln grows into repeated attempts to obtain Lincoln's essence blood and uncover the secret behind his rapid growth. 54 71 89
