For students who had only just entered their second year, the inside of the Castle at night was still quite novel. The densely patrolling Golems always appeared in time to stop them from heading into dangerous areas.
But now that Dark was leading them, they naturally would not be Lock-Oned by the Golems. Their orderly footsteps echoed as the group quickly climbed to the Castle's third floor.
The library within the Castle and the bridges leading to the various towers were all on the second floor. Thus, almost no one went up to the third floor.
However, tonight was a banquet, after all. There were always people sneaking up to the higher floors to do things that others were not meant to know about, only to be caught by patrolling Golems or members of the Disciplinary Committee.
Since the earlier incident had not been completely resolved, the Castle was still under lockdown even now.
For the students of Saint Marian Academy, this meant a little less freedom at night, but also a tiny bit more security.
