St. Marian's castle was connected by corridors in every direction, and golems patrolled it every night.
Before midnight, however, the golems only issued warnings. After midnight, they switched to "guard" mode, and if they spotted a student, they would arrest them.
So midnight was the curfew for the entire castle.
Dark took out the Sorting Card and summoned DemiDevimon.
Sensing Dark's intentions, DemiDevimon couldn't help looking a little excited.
The dull, monotonous life at the academy had been suppressing its nature all along.
It was DemiDevimon, after all—a DemiDevimon destined to stand above the heavens!
The night was its domain.
Its throne awaited in the night sky!

"Wuwuwu!"
Dark watched DemiDevimon's expression change at the drop of a hat and said helplessly, "Do you remember the route we took when we followed Victor last time? Take me there."
DemiDevimon immediately regained its composure and hurriedly patted its face. "Of course I remember! Who do you think I am?"
Dark smiled. "Then hurry up."
The night really was a pleasant setting.
He felt as if the emotions he had been suppressing all this time had found an outlet, slowly seeping away bit by bit.
He waved his hand, and the butterflies followed his guidance, forming a colorful ribbon.
Professor Kazel had said that this Flower Card would guide him to the source. In reality, though, the butterflies merely fluttered around the card, aimlessly.
Dark guessed it was because the source was too far away.
Fortunately, he had followed Victor for a while before, so he could get a little closer.
Following DemiDevimon, he hurried along. First, they reached the windowsill where he had watched
