Background
Following Ohara's destruction, Robin spent more than a decade alone and in hiding. With a bounty of 79 million Beli placed on her while she was still a child, she survived by changing names, betraying others when necessary, and never allowing herself to trust anyone. At age twenty-one, she was still being pursued by World Government agents and the West Blue underworld. 59
Dunn located Robin in the West Blue after paying Capone Bege for information. Robin initially escaped through a secret exit in her hideout rather than trust a Pirate Hunter who claimed to be helping her. She was soon cornered by CP agents, but Dunn protected her and had prepared a ship for her escape. 59 60
At the coast, Robin encountered Admiral Kuzan, whose presence reminded her of the destruction of Ohara and the escape route he had once allowed her. Believing Dunn could not defeat an Admiral, Robin offered to surrender to protect him; Dunn instead insisted on taking her with him. 61
Appearance
Robin is a statuesque woman over 1.8 meters tall with exquisite features. While on the run, she concealed most of her face beneath a hat and hood. 59
- Initially kept her face hidden and traveled in hooded clothing due to her fugitive status. 59 68
- Later stopped wearing her hat and appeared bare-faced, deciding that continued hiding would not make her danger disappear. 100
- Her complexion is described as becoming fairer during her time with Dunn. 236
- Demonio Fleur manifests as a giant, dark-skinned form with long black hair, enormous feet, and large dark wings. 394
Personality
Years of pursuit made Robin intensely vigilant, self-reliant, and distrustful. She habitually studies an island's terrain, escape routes, and local conditions upon arrival, and initially viewed every unfamiliar person as a possible threat or betrayer. 59 60
After traveling with Dunn, she gradually becomes more relaxed, playful, and openly curious. She offers practical advice on pirates, nations, historical matters, and prospective allies, defining her place at Dunn's side as someone who fills gaps in his knowledge and preparations. 69 71 267 275
Robin is dissatisfied with falling behind stronger companions and is determined not to become a weakness. Her desire to become stronger is tied directly to her wish to support Dunn and the Hunter Guild. 189 216 267
Abilities & Skills
Flower-Flower Fruit
Robin can sprout arms across targets and surfaces within her effective range, using them for restraint, mobility, and direct attacks.
- Creates limbs on opponents to break or twist their bodies, such as Thirty Fleurs: Strangle. 264
- Forms chains of arms to cross distances, latch onto ships, and pull herself across the sea. 84
- Uses Cien Fleur: Hook Claw to manifest numerous arms across a ship and incapacitate its crew. 84
- Uses Cien Fleur: Thousand Trees in Bloom, producing a thousand attacking arms. 217
- Can manifest Gigante Fleur: Stomp, a giant-limb attack that Dunn deflects. 217
- Armament-coated manifestations consume substantial stamina. 264
Demonio Fleur
Robin's awakened Flower-Flower Fruit form creates a complete giant body from a vortex of petals. 394
- Produces a towering, winged demon-like giant behind Robin. 394
- Represents an initial Devil Fruit awakening rather than merely an enlarged manifestation. 394
- Causes pronounced exhaustion and should not be used casually. 395
Haki and Martial Arts
Robin trains in Observation Haki, Armament Haki, Baji Quan, and swordsmanship under Dunn, Issho, and Hawkeye's instruction. 71 189 216
- Observation Haki — expands the effective awareness and targeting of her Devil Fruit beyond what she can physically see. 84
- Armament Haki — coats her manifested arms to increase their offensive power. 217 264
- Baji Quan force — applies a distinctive martial force through manifested, Haki-coated arms. 217
- Her powerful Haki techniques impose a heavy burden on her body due to her limited physical constitution. 395
Historical Knowledge
As an archaeologist and historian, Robin possesses extensive knowledge of ancient history, Devil Fruit records, regional politics, and pirate organizations.
- Suspects Dunn may know information connected to the Blank Century. 68
- Identifies Sai and Boo and explains the Happo Navy's role and history in Kano Country. 69 71
- Shares a historical legend that the Red Line was created by a powerful ability user. 106
- Researches the Big Mom Pirates and gathers intelligence across the seas for Dunn. 275
