A Wild Wolf Becomes Xue Xi’s Companion

Little Wolf was a lone wolf who had left his pack. Before meeting Xue Xi, a Lord Rank Giant Rock Black Bear drove him out of his den, and an encounter with a human powerhouse nearly cost him his life 9 285.

Xue Xi subdued him, breaking his teeth when he bit her head. She named him Little Wolf and offered food, shelter, and protection from human hunters—with the alternative strongly implying that he would become dinner. He immediately agreed. She then moved him into her warehouse and requested medicine from Xu Xin 4.

His first contribution to the restaurant was guarding its supplies from a large rat. Xue Xi initially mistook him for the culprit, then apologized and prepared a bathtub-sized serving of braised Cat Ear Noodles for him 8.

After reaching Lord Rank, he carried Xue Xi toward his former den to reclaim it. He abandoned the attempt when he realized that the darkness frightened her, instead carrying her away and listening as she described the loss of her childhood home 9.

Capture by Li Yao and Venina

Li Yao and Venina targeted Little Wolf to pressure Xue Xi into surrendering her healing-wine recipe. Luo Feng discovered their pursuit, warned her, and delayed Li Yao while Venina chased Little Wolf east 26.

Venina trapped him beneath an electric net, with a bomb serving as further leverage. Luo Feng approached underground and retrieved the unconscious wolf with Xue Xi’s Universe Pot. Once his rescue was confirmed, Xue Xi killed the couple after their threats and checked that Little Wolf was safe 27.

Earth’s Guardian Beast

By the time Luo Feng’s Golden Horned Beast body hatched, Little Wolf had become a Stellar Rank beast and had been bound to Xue Xi by a Beast Pet Contract for a year. Earthlings regarded him as a sacred guardian beast, and restaurant customers brought him fresh meat, which he never refused 46.

He carried Xue Xi to the Pacific island to witness the hatching. After learning that the enormous creature was Luo Feng’s new body, he welcomed the prospect of a playmate sturdy enough to withstand him 46.

Cultivation in the Initial Universe

Little Wolf spent years on Xue Xi’s Cultivation Planet before she released him to stop his destructive antics. Although he had reached Universe Level, the powerful beings in Chaos City kept him from behaving as freely as he would elsewhere 100.

Xue Xi later took him hunting in the Domain Lord Chaos Beast grounds. After his successful hunt, she sought Domain Lord-level Nutrient Solution for him. The Logistics Department rejected her request because she herself was only Universe Level, prompting her to appeal to Venerable Gui Yi 111 112.

When Little Wolf returned from hunting, Venerable Golden Axe mistook him for an attacking Chaos Beast and nearly killed him; Xue Xi intervened in time. She subsequently gave Little Wolf 1,000 Chaos True Spirits and placed him in a Nutrient Pod inside the Universe Pot to cultivate 114.

Tang Xiaoyou’s Taste-Tester

While Little Wolf was digesting Venerable Tianhua’s bloodline, Tang Xiaoyou selected him as the next test subject for her experimental cooking. He was later shown foaming at the mouth, with unidentified food scraps around his muzzle 166 167.

Repeated exposure eventually altered his tastes: he delighted in Tang Xiaoyou’s dark cuisine, while his formerly beloved Cat Ear Noodles made him question his life as a wolf 172.

Family Life and Menyue’s Training

After spending time with wolf-like beasts in another star system, Little Wolf returned with several mates. He insisted that his wives were all his “true loves,” while describing the female Chaos Beasts he had known in Chaos City as merely friends or confidantes 211 215 216.

His comfortable life changed after he swallowed the sealed sphere containing Menyue. One of his mates exposed the incident to Xue Qi, forcing him to enlarge himself and vomit the sphere back up. Xue Xi left before her anger could get the better of her 232 233.

Xue Xi subsequently assigned Menyue to train him. Menyue used the opportunity to retaliate through grueling trials, but the training also matured Little Wolf’s bloodline and deepened his understanding of Light and Time Laws. Little Wolf eventually began training voluntarily, motivated by the hope of defeating his instructor and returning to his mates 235 248 250.

Return to Earth and Departure

Returning to Cat Ear Restaurant after more than a century, Little Wolf quietly recognized the place where Xue Xi had first subdued him. Granted a vacation, he released his companions and ran with them toward his former den 285.

Their stay caused a misunderstanding when Captain Xiao Lin encountered one of Little Wolf’s Tiangou mates near a military restricted area. Little Wolf moved to protect her, but Ai Chen intervened before the incident became serious. Xue Xi compensated Xiao Lin with healing wine and reprimanded Little Wolf for allowing his wives into the restricted area 294.

When Xue Xi later entered Monster Race territory, she arranged an official database identity for Little Wolf as a member of a Sky Wolf Race subordinate race. She instructed him to leave his life core in her God Kingdom for safety and pursue his own growth. Supplied with food and an E-class spaceship, he left his wives in her care and departed for the Northern Region 314.

Appearance

• Coat: Soft, silvery-white fur, which Xue Xi compares to a husky’s rather than the stiff coat of other wolves. After his first evolution, it becomes brighter and resembles a curtain of stars 4 8 9.
• Early size: Approximately three meters tall and eight meters long as an Advanced Beast General; around five meters tall and more than twelve meters long after reaching Elementary Lord 8 9.

Personality

Little Wolf combines a fierce beast’s pride with distinctly husky-like behavior. He races around enclosures, shows off before weaker monsters, seeks praise, and becomes visibly excited at the promise of food. Xue Xi repeatedly finds the contrast between his powerful bloodline and foolish antics exasperating 4 8 112.

He is food-motivated and opportunistic. Initially unwilling to lend his claws as cooking tools, he immediately cooperates when Xue Xi explains that doing so will improve his meal. His appetite is enormous, and he readily accepts meat from restaurant visitors 10 46.

Beneath his comic behavior, he is attentive to Xue Xi and fiercely protective of his mates. He gives up reclaiming his den when she becomes frightened, but nearly attacks a military patrol captain after a confrontation involving one of his wives 9 294.

He dislikes punishment and often escapes people who tease him, especially Ai Chen. Nevertheless, Menyue’s training gradually develops his determination: even after reaching World Lord and discovering that he still cannot defeat his instructor, he willingly resumes training for the sake of a better future 216 250 277.
