Haruno was raised in a wealthy and influential Yukinoshita family. Her parents expected both sisters to learn corporate management and social skills for their future roles, potentially including marriage alliances. Haruno took on much of that burden herself, leaving Yukino comparatively sheltered from those expectations 451.

Hanazawa Sakura recruited Haruno into her agency at Shuya's entrance ceremony.
