He uncovered the Tiger Braves, prepared a puppet killing array, and Bai Ze arrived in Danggui Zhou as the Beast Race turned against him.

• Chen Changsheng exposed Lin Lang’s betrayal and explained that the Demon Race’s demands had tested both races, then warned Hu Qiuyue about the coming Heaven’s Mandate Bearer.
• Chen Changsheng took Hu Tudou and Yue Ying to Lincang Zhou, where they uncovered Wang Hao’s plan to drain the region’s life force and delay his ancestor’s awakening.
• Chen Changsheng entered Beast Race territory, secured the Heavenly Silk Nine Transformations and Five Elements Mulberries, and learned that Bai Ze was being hunted for raiding ancestral graves.

Chen Changsheng defeated the Flood Dragon, entrusted the future to the children he preserved, and withdrew as the races fought and changed over centuries. After Tian Xuan’s rise and fall, Chen Changsheng remained in the Qiongqi Tomb until Nian Sheng told him what had become of the world.

• The Undertaker used the Zhou Tian Star Dou Great Array and the Eight Hundred Tiger Braves to defeat the attackers, then claimed the Heavenly Silk, Peacock, and Flood Dragon clans and trapped the Flood Dragon Race in Hidden Dragon Zhou.
• Chen Changsheng led Bai Ze and the others into the Qiongqi Tomb, where they escaped its paper figures and gained treasures from the ancient experts’ formation.
• Chen Changsheng sealed Zi Ping and two infants in Longevity Bloodstones, then sacrificed his body and cultivation to turn the Flood Dragon’s Heavenly Tribulation into Heavenly Punishment and kill it.
• Bai Ze learned from Chen Changsheng’s message that a tiny piece of flesh was essential to his survival, and he took the children and the Dragon Pearl toward the Qingqiu Fox Clan.

Chen Changsheng emerged from hiding, sought to reshape the weakened world, and helped Su Wan'er recover while bringing her toward Mountain and River Academy. There he recruited allies and defeated Hua Feng, but Qian Ya faced being cast out of her family for standing with him.

• Chen Changsheng learned that a hidden force remained behind the upheavals and decided to wait until the realms rebuilt their power, while he worked on Ao Chuang and met Ge Hong and Little Immortal Elder.
• Chen Changsheng and Bai Ze went to the Spirit Region, where Chen Changsheng accepted Su Wan'er's engagement and decided to help her branch of the Su family rise.
• Chen Changsheng sold pills made from Bai Ze's urine through Qian Ya, bought the broken sword Startled Swan for Su Wan'er, and set out with Qian Ya and Su Wan'er for Peaceful Inn.
• Hu Tudou told Chen Changsheng about the Demon Race's growing influence, and Chen Changsheng said he would help them rather than destroy them.
• Hu Tudou and Chen Changsheng cured Su Wan'er's Fire Poison with Cold Ice Flame, medicinal liquid, and Thousand Year Cold Jade, while Chen Changsheng declared himself the Perfect Young Master.
• Chen Changsheng reached Mountain and River Academy with Qian Ya and Hu Tudou, recruited Ye Yongxian to help guide the younger generation, and defeated Hua Feng in front of the crowd.
• Chen Changsheng made Hua Feng swear to stay away from the Perfect Young Master until she could defeat him, and Qian Ya told him her ancestor demanded that she sever ties with Chen Changsheng or leave the Qian Family.

Chen Changsheng entered Mountain and River Academy, earned all ten crowns, and gathered a group to seek a way through the thunder tribulations. As he challenged the academy’s influence over Human Race students, he guided his companions into new roles and began teaching a growing class.

• Chen Changsheng trained Qian Ya during the academy’s hide-and-seek examination, then defeated her and revealed the group’s disguise to the other students.
• Chen Changsheng announced he would become a Ten Crown King, passed the academy’s examinations, and used Nalan Xingde’s image to learn that no one had survived the lightning tribulation.
• Chen Changsheng chose the Outer Courtyard and brought his companions to Mountain and River Academy, where he reunited Wang Hao and Ye Yongxian and enlisted Wang Hao in the effort to overcome the tribulations.
• Chen Changsheng confronted Xu Hu over claims that the Human Race and Demon Race were one family, then arranged fights and dormitory work to make the students face hardship.
• Chen Changsheng agreed to teach Hua Feng, who wanted to surpass her brother and become the first Empress under Heaven.
• At the Apprentice Ceremony, Xu Hu chose Old Pen as his teacher, Hu Yan joined the Ice Emperor, Feiyun joined Jiang Ruyan, and the Drunken Scholar accepted Su Wan'er.
