WAAAAGH had two meanings among the Orks: one referred to the WAAAAGH field, while the other meant an interstellar Great Crusade.

Due to the Orks' warlike nature, they often fought among themselves or launched pirate raids against nearby enemies. Such conflicts were usually small-scale or local skirmishes and never truly developed further.

But once the number of Orks reached a critical mass, the strongest, greenest, and biggest Ork Warlord would emerge.

With an Ork Warlord, the Orks would rapidly evolve, gaining greater intelligence, technology, and combat capability. They would build warships, sweep across the stars, and ruin every star system along their path.

The so-called WAAAGH could also be understood as the Great Crusade launched by the Orks in the name of their gods, Gork and Mork.
