Setting aside the turmoil of countless tiny lives, Kangqiao focused intently on the nearly four thousand fireballs remaining in the sky.
The fireballs bursting apart one after another was merely the opening movement, because once they had all stabilized, the figures reflected within the flames could be seen growing calm and serene.
And at that very moment, what answered those devout souls was the Divine Kingdom.
On Kangqiao's chest, the Star Radiance rune began to glow.
It detached from Kangqiao's body and moved into the sky.
At that moment, under Kangqiao's guidance, Star Radiance suddenly grew larger and fiercely spread across nearly a dozen miles.
It nearly encompassed all the Giant Beasts and their people.
The rotating Star Radiance scattered fiery light.
And within that fiery light, all living beings could see the drifting tadpole-like script and countless spinning runes.
Seeing the rotating Star Radiance in the sky and the flames filled with divine splendor, most of the people of the five races felt an urge to prostrate themselves in worship.
The other four beasts stared in bewilderment, clearly having no idea how this thing had come to be.
However, while these creatures were still confused, the thousands of fireballs floating in the sky began to move.
They flew toward Star Radiance and swiftly vanished into the rotating vortex at its center.
The fireballs disappeared one after another, and soon all the supernatural phenomena faded away.
The enlarged Star Radiance shrank, vanishing like a bubble.
Only the faintly glowing Star Radiance on Kangqiao's chest remained.
But this Star Radiance soon faded completely.
Kangqiao did not move. Though his eyes were open, all his thoughts and will had entered the Divine Kingdom.
He saw it.
The instant the nearly four thousand fireballs entered the Divine Kingdom, they all rushed toward the flaming egg floating above the sea of molten lava.
They merged into it, causing the flaming egg to burn more fiercely and grow ever larger.
At the same time, when one fireball merged into the fiery Eyeball Creature, an eyeball suddenly formed within the three flaming halos surrounding its body.
Though this eyeball was not as large as the main eye within the three halos, merely looking at it felt inexplicably eerie.
And that was not all. As more fireballs merged into the fiery eye, eyeballs began to appear one after another, densely packed across the three flaming halos.
All those eyes were half-closed, but Kangqiao found them strangely unsettling.
"What kind of monster had this created?"
Kangqiao felt somewhat numb.
For the instant those thousands of fireballs poured into the fiery eye, the egg enveloping it had already expanded dozens of times over.
A colossal being nearly one hundred and fifty meters in diameter had been born just like that.
And at that moment, the enormous flaming egg slowly rose into the sky above the Lava Flame.
Dozens of lines of fire formed across the Lava Flame below. They connected to the flaming egg as though continuously supplying it with energy, frantically accelerating its hatching.
Finally, beneath Kangqiao's watchful will, the eye at the center of the giant flaming egg—the one that had been half-closed—suddenly snapped open!
The fiery eye severed the lines of Lava Flame connecting it to the ground. The emotion most apparent in its gaze upon opening was confusion.
Still half-bewildered, it lowered its gaze to overlook the sea of molten lava below before finally raising its head toward the sky.
The fiery eye saw the illusory sun overhead, and its once-confused gaze seemed to go blank.
And at that very moment, Kangqiao suddenly felt it—felt that something indescribable had established a connection with him.
"Father God?"
A voice of consciousness suddenly appeared in Kangqiao's mind.
The voice carried the weight of ages, filled with confusion and faint unease.
Kangqiao froze for a moment, then came back to himself and was overwhelmed with delight.
Kangqiao could now be absolutely certain!
The one who had formed a connection with him was that giant fiery eye, and if he had guessed correctly, the main eye's consciousness had to be the Dinosaur Elder who had first entered his Divine Kingdom.
Of course, none of that mattered!
What mattered most was that Kangqiao finally had someone he could talk to!
Heaven had pity on him. For all these years, Kangqiao had not had a single person with whom he could communicate freely and without barriers. The stifling loneliness had nearly made him withdraw into himself.
"Father God?"
"Is that what you call me?"
After his excitement subsided, Kangqiao replied to the voice with some confusion.
Hearing that someone had truly answered him, the Dinosaur Elder fell silent. Only after steadying his trembling heart did he speak with reverence.
"The humble Lava Populace were created by Father God, and the humble Lava Populace have been able to stand upon this land entirely because of Your protection. Therefore, Father God, please do not deny Your people's love and devout faith in You."
Was that so?
Kangqiao thought about it, and it did seem to be the case.
Hadn't these Dinosaur People, who called themselves the Lava Populace, been created by his radiation? His ability to grant them the power of flames before had already proven that. As for protecting them, that was indeed a fact as well.
Kangqiao found it rather amusing. This was the first time anyone had flattered him so openly—and they were flattering him as a god, no less.
That was kind of interesting!
As a god, should he perhaps put on a more imposing act?
Kangqiao considered it, but ultimately decided against it.
What nonsense. He did not believe in all that posturing and power-play nonsense. He had already transmigrated into another primitive world—wouldn't it be better to live more easily?
To hell with putting on an act!
"That is quite an interesting title. Fine, let's set that aside for now. What is your name?" Kangqiao's will asked as it eagerly examined the fiery eye.
"Kaiya. High Priest Kaiya, Father God."
"Kaiya?"
Since they were communicating through consciousness, the name was really just a homophone.
"Not bad. A good name."
"Thank You for Your praise, Father God!"
The Dinosaur Elder was beside himself with excitement. Though their exchange had been brief, he now knew that he was perhaps truly within the Divine Kingdom.
And this form he now possessed had surely been bestowed upon him by Father God.
What boundless favor was this?
The Dinosaur Elder was nearly moved to tears.
He could finally continue serving his god. His wish had finally come true. What an honor it was.
Naturally, Kangqiao knew nothing of Kaiya's many thoughts. Instead, he grew increasingly engrossed in their conversation.
Kangqiao had begun asking about every aspect of Dinosaur People's society and culture.
Naturally, he eventually asked whether the Dinosaur People had recently faced any threats.
After learning how deeply the Dinosaur People loved him, Kangqiao was delighted, but he also felt that perhaps he should help those little fellows on the ground a bit more.
And so, Kangqiao soon learned that the Dinosaur People still faced three threats.
The White Worms of the northern frozen lands, the Earth-Drilling Demon Worms beneath the eastern lands, and the Flame Monsters in the western desert that supposedly sought to seize his divine authority.
