"I know there would be security equipment here, so all your functions are useless against me!" A high-energy barrier appeared before Obadiah, and behind him emerged a vehicle that seemed to be powered by a miniature Arc Reactor.
"Howard created magnetic levitation devices 70 years ago. After some improvements, blocking this kind of light is naturally no problem." Obadiah stood quietly before them, looking as if victory was already in his grasp.
The rod-like object was blocked by the barrier in front of him, remaining firmly stuck to its surface, while the bullets from soldiers who had accidentally opened fire were also held fast against the barrier.
"Tony, hand over all the knowledge regarding the iron armor you are currently building and the Arc Reactor. For your father's sake, let's part on good terms." He was still attempting to persuade them to surrender.
"I think he'll kill you once you hand over the knowledge." Fang Bie quietly opened a hole in the floor and arrived behind the steel plate where Tony and the others were hiding.
Coulson watched, dumbfounded, as the three of them dug a hole in the floor and entered the level below; he felt as if his eyes were about to pop out.
"Jarvis, give them the illusion that we are all still upstairs, and transmit my voice up there." Tony casually instructed the AI, then glanced at Coulson.
"Why are you still standing up there? Waiting for them to turn you into a beehive?"
"Oh!" Coulson nodded blankly, hurriedly climbed down from that spot, and then watched with a look of shock as the two of them sealed the opening with blocks.
"Where is Yinsen?" Upstairs, Obadiah was still chattering away with his persuasion, while the group below had already begun to converse.
"He hid directly inside that iron armor. I can see him through my sensors. It's fine; that armor can withstand a direct hit from a tank's main gun. These firearms can't do anything to him."
Tony swiped across a screen, where Yinsen was smiling and waving at them.
"Tony, is there any way to deal with them?" As Coulson desperately tried to overcome his look of disbelief and Pepper Potts remained dazed by the conflict, Fang Bie had already begun to ask.
"He brought a team of elite soldiers. I often hire them as security, so I know them all too well. This group isn't something that can be defeated by ordinary mechanical equipment. We need to plan this carefully!"
Tony explained, "They understand most of the mechanical facilities at Stark Industries. Many of our weapons can't cause them any damage, not to mention that Obadiah is there assisting them!"
"Then can they deal with your armor?" Fang Bie asked with interest.
"Of course not. I used a high-manganese alloy that bullets cannot penetrate. If the gold-titanium alloy I ordered wasn't still on the way, I doubt even bullets could leave a mark on it!" Tony had simply been stuck in a rut; hearing this suggestion, he turned his head sharply.
"Now that you mention it, there might be room to maneuver!" He immediately abandoned the idea of leading everyone downstairs to drive away.
Since Obadiah had launched a sneak attack, he couldn't have failed to consider this possibility. His entire villa was likely already surrounded by various elite troops, so they had no choice but to do the opposite and find a way to wipe these guys out.
"It seems you are also a group of people with peculiar abilities. Can you buy me some time? I can call some people to help you." Coulson had recovered from his shock by this point and began to negotiate terms with them.
"I think the most important thing for you to do right now is to block all news of this. If there are reinforcements, you can certainly call them, but since Obadiah has already come, he wouldn't have failed to prepare for that!" Tony knew his uncle too well and naturally understood what the other party was doing.
"Sir, all surrounding signals have been jammed. No electromagnetic waves can be transmitted." Jarvis's voice rang out once again at the perfect moment, cutting off their hopes of finding outside help.
"It's a good thing I set up an internal communication system at home. Yinsen, can you hear me?" Tony quickly pulled an intercom from the wall, while the bright display screens showed static from the signal jamming.
"OK Tony, I can hear you. They are gradually approaching your hiding spot and will be here soon. Once they discover you aren't inside, they'll likely search the entire villa!" Yinsen said nervously from inside the armor.
"It's fine, just stay inside for now. In an emergency, I authorize you to use the armor's power source!" Tony said casually, preparing to continue with his other plans.
Meanwhile, Fang Bie had already begun to equip his own items.
"Fang Bie? What are you doing?" Tony asked, looking at the scattered parts on the ground, not knowing what to say.
"I previously tried using the steel from your house to make armor. Now that we have to fight Obadiah, how can I ensure my safety without wearing a suit of iron armor?" Fang Bie countered.
Since they were by the sea, their flood tactics would have little effect, and lava would destroy them along with the enemies, so they had to find another way.
Fang Bie had finally managed to make his presence felt, so he certainly wouldn't let things end so hastily; he decisively proceeded with his next move.
He placed two sets of iron armor directly in front of Pepper Potts and Coulson. "Just made these, put them on!"
The two looked at the two suits of armor, which seemed to be fused together, with question marks on their faces, unable to find any way to put them on from top to bottom.
"Mr. Fang Bie, this..." Pepper Potts asked, puzzled.
"Oh, I forgot, you don't seem to have that ability. Then let's do this!" Fang Bie tapped the two of them lightly, and as if by a miracle, the two sets of armor directly equipped themselves onto them, covering them completely.
"There, at least you don't have to worry about ordinary gunfire. Tony, let's go figure out how to deal with them!" Fang Bie said, subconsciously pulling an iron sword from his inventory.
"Throw that thing away. Aside from being hard, I don't see any benefit. Use mine!" Tony then donned a layer of iron armor himself. With the iron armor he had just finished sitting right there, this was the best protection they had on hand.
The rod-like object he tossed to Fang Bie had already been extended, revealing itself to be a red high-energy laser flickering with electric arcs!
"A lightsaber? Tony, are you a Star Wars fan?" Fang Bie asked in surprise, extending the pale blue lightsaber in his own hand and casually slicing through a few steel pipes.
"You bet, that's what a real fan does!" Tony raised his eyebrows and smiled triumphantly.
