Background / History

Tony plans to use Jarvis to create English-learning software with simultaneous interpretation for Fang Bie after bringing him to Earth. 24

Jarvis first directly interacts with Fang Bie and Yinsen through Tony’s car, where he welcomes Tony back and arranges food suited to the two visitors’ preferences. 25 After Tony brings Fang Bie and Yinsen to his villa, Jarvis manages access permissions, operates laboratory machinery, and assists with the replacement of Tony’s Arc Reactor. 27

During S.H.I.E.L.D.’s visit, Jarvis screens Phil Coulson for weapons and electronic devices, monitors the agents surrounding the villa, and opens the entrance only for Coulson. 28 He later helps Tony and Fang Bie develop the M1 smartphone by producing Fang Bie’s virtual phone concept and assembling a physical prototype under Tony’s authorization. 30

When Obadiah Stane attacks the villa, Jarvis creates a false impression that Tony’s group remains upstairs, maintains internal communications despite signal jamming, tracks Yinsen through the Iron Armor’s sensors, and later provides targeting support during the final confrontation. 34 35 37 He also pilots the aircraft used by Fang Bie and Yinsen as they depart for the Minecraft world. 37
