Jiang Chen completed the Sea God's Fourth and Fifth Trials, gained new powers, and began the challenge against the Seven Sacred Pillar guardians. The battle remained underway as he and his companions fought the guardians across the island.

• Jiang Chen and Ning Rongrong defeated Sea Witch and Xiao Bai, completed the Fourth Trial, and received twenty-thousand-year increases to their Soul Rings.
• The Creation God Projection gave Jiang Chen the Creation God Canon First Layer and the Seed of Divinity, then Bo Saixi assigned Jiang Chen and Ning Rongrong to assess the chained Deep Sea Drake.
• Jiang Chen killed the Deep Sea Drake, absorbed its hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring, and gained new abilities as he recovered from the ordeal.
• Jiang Chen and Zhu Zhuqing confessed their feelings and spent the night together, while Ning Rongrong broke through her Sea God Power limit and Tang San awakened his Blue Silver Emperor Bloodline.
• Jiang Chen absorbed the Deep Sea Drake's Soul Bone into his Nine Heavens Dragon Wings, gained the Green Lotus Emperor Body and Emperor Dragon Spear, and received his second Creation God trial.
• Bo Saixi announced that Jiang Chen and his companions had to challenge the Seven Sacred Pillar guardians, whose Soul Power she suppressed to level seventy-five.
• Jiang Chen began the trial by fighting Sea Witch Douluo and several guardians, while Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, Dugu Yan, and Xiao Wu battled other guardians.
• Jiang Chen disabled Sea Witch Douluo, but Sea Illusion Douluo and Sea Spear Douluo continued attacking him as the battle remained unresolved.
