Background
Di Jun was born within the Great Sun, itself transformed from Pangu's left eye. As a sacred being of the Great Sun, he commanded its radiance and authority; he was portrayed as fated to become the Heavenly Emperor. Before founding the Heavenly Court, he united Innate Sacred beings of Pangu origin under the name “demons,” gathered hundreds of millions of followers, recruited the Ten Great Demon Generals, and ruled the eastern Primordial World as Demon Emperor 112.
After witnessing the conflict between Hong Jun and Luo Hou, Di Jun attained enlightenment above the Great Sun and comprehended the Heavenly Stars Great Formation. His connection to Star Daoist's teachings later allowed him to become the first listener to comprehend a trace of Mixed Origin True Intent 112 118.

As Heavenly Emperor, he is notably tolerant toward other factions. Di Jun founded the Demon Race's early power base and attended Hong Jun's Purple Cloud Palace gathering to display the Demon Race's strength and recruit capable Innate Sacred beings. After Star Daoist revealed Hong Jun's suppression of the Mixed Origin Thought, Di Jun rejected Hong Jun's path and became the first attendee to grasp Mixed Origin True Intent 113 118.
Reestablishment of the Heavenly Court
Di Jun and Tai Yi sought the Thirty-Three Heavens as the future seat of their rule. With the Three Purities completing the Thirty-Six Heavens, Di Jun accepted his destiny and proclaimed himself Heavenly Emperor. The Heavenly Dao later formally recognized this position when he repelled three invading Mixed Origin True Self experts 135 136 148.
Rule of the Primordial World
