"Lord Kaede, what do you want me to do with the Land of Snow?" That was what concerned him most right now. If Kaede wanted him to take the people of the Land of Snow to war, it would be no different from sending them to their deaths.
"Build this place up and develop it. Make it a pure land in this world, and a secret home for the Uchiha." Kaede was confident that, after taking control of this place and developing the Land of Snow, the Uchiha Clan could change its fate of being wiped out.
"By the way, I heard you're working on a Geothermal Device that could change the climate here."
"You even know about that?" He had never mentioned the Geothermal Device to anyone. He had been working on it in secret, hoping to surprise his daughter. Kazahana Sōsetsu couldn't believe Kaede knew about something so confidential.
"I know a lot of secrets. If I told you I could see the future, would you believe me?" Kaede replied mysteriously, neither confirming nor denying it.
"The future is only one of many possibilities in the present. It isn't fixed. Still, it's certainly possible for someone to see one of those possible futures. Lord Kaede, it's enviable that you have such a gift." Kazahana Sōsetsu pushed up his glasses like a bookworm. He hadn't realized Kaede was joking at all, and answered with complete seriousness.
"As long as you're happy." He was a highly intelligent researcher, but his emotional intelligence was terrible.
