Background

Gu Qingzhou is a Reborn cultivator whose knowledge of the future repeatedly guides his choices. He knew that Mo Shang would eventually create the completed Ten Thousand Dao Star Art and gave that future version to its creator ahead of time. His foreknowledge also lets him identify future opportunities, though it is imperfect; he once remembered a cave’s existence without knowing its precise location. 6 8

When entering Falling Cloud Sect, Gu Qingzhou first requested a personal-disciple quota for Mo Shang. He then chose Sword Peak and became the Sword Peak Master’s personal disciple. 3 4 After awakening the Gengjin Sword Body, he accepted Liu Zhengyang’s offer to become Falling Cloud Sect’s Holy Son in exchange for tripled cultivation resources and priority access to sect resources. 12 13
