Background

Jinlin was a transmigrator whose previous-world life ended when a highway truck struck him. Unlike Mo Shang, he reincarnated as a golden-red carp. Gu Qingzhou fought the carp before kicking it toward Mo Shang, who used a Transformation Pill to awaken Jinlin’s human consciousness. Jinlin immediately accepted Mo Shang’s invitation to join the Falling Cloud Sect, treating him as a fellow “brother.” 111

A month after joining the sect, Jinlin revealed his golden finger: he converts devoured spiritual power into Evolution Points, which can directly improve his cultivation and abilities. When Mo Shang gave him an eighth-rank beast core, Jinlin rose from the Qi Gathering Realm to the peak of the Return to Origin Realm in moments. 112

Although his system could rapidly increase his cultivation, it could not bypass the need for insight into the Great Dao to enter the Question Dao Realm.
