Last Words
The writing made of black slime was still not finished.
You might be wondering why I left this message, and why in this way, as if I didn't intend for anyone to see it.
Haha, but let me introduce myself first. I'm Hope Whateley, the real Hope Whateley.
for real----
Did Number One Hope know there would be other Hope?
Hope bit her nail.
He still thought that Number One Hope was the truly pitiful original owner.

Do you know what a son of God should be like? Mad, chaotic, fanatical, or irrational?
If that's the case, then that guy and Wilbur did a great job. But unfortunately, I'm not, at least I don't think so.
As the eldest of triplets, I am the most special one, but also the most ordinary from another perspective.
Unlike the other two, the human element in me is overwhelmingly dominant, and my father's divinity is not reflected in me at all. You could say that I am almost just an ordinary human being.
Even Wilbur underwent various changes; as a child, he was even ashamed of his crocodile-like skin, while I have always been human.
Hope was unaware that Wilbur had crocodile-like skin, but he thought it made sense.
Wilbur never seemed like a human being to him.
Wilbur always looked down on everyone else; he became arrogant because of his status as the son of God.
But I cannot be arrogant. When I see those people, I think: they are just like me.
My grandfather told me I didn't need to care about ordinary people, but I still made friends easily in Dunwich. I even wanted to introduce my friends to Wilbur, but unfortunately, it ended badly. Wilbur said they were ants.
I love my friends very much, and my friends love me too. I almost thought we could be friends forever.
Unfortunately, one day Blanche met my younger brother.
Transparent Monster ----
Hope felt a moment of panic, even though he didn't know Blanche.
He was saddened by what happened to Blanche and Number One Hope.
Blanche is dead.
No one doubted me. The next day, when I saw my friends again, I greeted them with a smile as usual.
Then, upon hearing that Blanche was missing, I showed appropriate alarm and concern. I accompanied them on their search throughout Dunwich.
Oh, they like me so much, and they trust me so much.
But actually, it was I who killed Blanche.
My nameless younger brother always depended on me, his older brother. He was bewildered when he saw Blanche, so I made him kill her.
How could this happen so suddenly----
Hope looked up.
Number One Hope's narrative is calm and restrained; his mood is not apparent from these words.
But----how----
Clearly—they were friends in the previous story, how did the plot suddenly change?—Why did Number One Hope,—
The script started as a story of a Monster's son finding redemption through the kindness of his friends—but later it seemed like they switched to an editor who wrote B-movies.
Text continues:
Until that day, I finally realized that even though I considered myself human, I was no different from my brothers.
Do you know people who own dogs? They pamper and spoil their pets, saying that their dogs are family members, and they probably really do treat their dogs as family members in real life.
But one day, the dog owner got a new job, moved to a new house, and dogs weren't allowed in the new house, so----
Haha, it might seem a bit unfair of me to dog owners to say this. But it's true, I don't really consider those people as friends.
And when they saw things they shouldn't have seen—I was more heartless than a dog owner. Great King of Kings, I am his son. I am the son of the King of King of Kings.
I really don't want it to be like this—I wish I could love my friends the way they love me—but I can't.
Number One Hope's words suddenly became somewhat incoherent.
I really did consider them friends—I think I really did.
At least we got along well for several more years, long enough for them to forget about Blanche.
"At the same time, my grandfather has been teaching me the knowledge necessary for extraordinary people, and I am working hard for our great cause."
That day, my grandfather said that the time to fulfill the the Whateley family's long-cherished wish was fast approaching.
For reasons I myself find difficult to understand, I refused when my grandfather and Wilbur told me about their plans. Not only that, I pressured them to postpone them.
----Yes, that's right. I broke my leg on Sentinel Hill, and Paul and Colin found me.----
Even so, my friends aren't absolutely safe—and at that moment I wondered why I should care about them.
I don't want them to die, nor do I want the people of Dunwich to die. I love Mrs. Corey's bread.
But how could I become an obstacle to my father?
Some incomprehensible things are mixed in with the text, like random scribblings, without any logic, and it can't even be considered text.
Hope skipped this part.
Finally, I got a little annoyed.
I've come up with a brilliant idea: I've decided to give you my body. I'll let you make the decision for me.
You can do whatever you want.
In my final moments, I wrote these words. The first half contains secrets that threaten the the Whateley family, which I hesitate to leave to you. The second half is my last words, which I hesitate to let others know.
So I left this message inside Number Three's body. If you're lucky enough, you'll be able to see it.
Ah, and finally, I must say this: the last sacrifice Wilbur desired was the body you are currently using. Whether it's good or bad, you can decide for yourself.
That concludes the text.
Is he someone who killed his friend for the sake of his family's interests, but then betrayed his family for his friend's sake?
Number One Hope, is living a really awkward life.
This body is the sacrifice needed to summon the King of Kings ----
This is pretty much what Hope had predicted; Old Whateley and Wilbur must have had a great use for him—now it seems they were keeping him as the main dish for sacrificial offerings like pigs, cattle, and sheep.
Is it good or bad?
Hope's lips twitched—was asking such a question an attempt to consider the possibility that her successor might be a cult member?
Yes, Hope, the Number One Hope, clearly knew that someone would succeed him, and not only that, he could decide when the successor would arrive.
Hope believed he had reason to suspect that the time travel was related to Number One Hope, and that it was very likely that he had summoned him there using some kind of evil magic.
However, Hope quickly noticed something amiss in the language of Number One Hope.
Number One Hope —seems to believe there will only be one successor?
In other words, the only successor he actually considered was— Number Two Hope?
