In the bathroom, beside the sink, a young man appeared in the mirror.

The young man opened his eyes and carefully examined his reflection. His eyes were red, with tomoe within them.

"Sharingan? What a pity it isn't a true Sharingan," the young man said regretfully as he looked at his reflected eyes.

"Still, its potential is strong. Since I've already mastered Gyo, does that mean I start directly at Two Tomoe?"

He felt the power within his eyes.

"With the power of the Sharingan, I can begin training in taijutsu."

The young man was named Lucky Felix.

He was a reincarnator.

He had been reborn in the Hunter x Hunter world and had been born as a Nen Ability user.

His Sharingan, however, was not the pure Sharingan from the Naruto world. It had been created through his Nen Ability, "Transmutation."

His ability was difficult to classify as either a "system" or a Nen Ability.

Lucky was a Specialization-type user, and his ability was "Sign-in."

He could sign in to obtain items from other dimensions. Starting from the day of his birth, he could sign in once every twelve years.

Today was his second sign-in. His first had been at birth.

The Sharingan was what he had received from that sign-in, though its abilities underwent different changes depending on the world.

In the world of Naruto, the Sharingan possessed many powerful abilities.

Lucky's Sharingan, however, had changed somewhat.

In the mirror, Lucky's Sharingan changed from Two Tomoe to One Tomoe.

"One Tomoe is the normal bloodline ability. From Two Tomoe onward, I need Nen to activate and use it?"

Having only just obtained the Sharingan, Lucky had yet to fully understand its abilities.

A bloodline ability activated through Nen?

The One Tomoe ability was innate Gyo—not merely opening Aura Nodes, but also seeing through Invisibility—and enhanced dynamic vision.

Two Tomoe added the ability to copy taijutsu.

However, Lucky guessed that it could probably also copy strike-based abilities among Nen users.

Three Tomoe possessed hypnotic genjutsu abilities.

The Mangekyo could use Susanoo and summon a giant mech.

Starting from Two Tomoe, Nen Ability was required to activate it.

The tomoe in his reflected eyes changed again, from One Tomoe to Two Tomoe, then to Three Tomoe.

Starting from Two Tomoe, it consumed Nen. The copying ability consumed Nen, and so did the hypnosis ability.

Lucky tried to activate the Mangekyo, but found that he could not. It was not simply a matter of insufficient Nen.

There seemed to be some kind of restriction. He could only activate it after fulfilling certain conditions.

"But since this is a different world, the activation conditions should be different too, right?" Lucky thought of how the Uchiha clan awakened their eyes.

The "Sign-in" ability could not make Lucky powerful immediately.

For example, Lucky's first sign-in item had been the Fantastic Beasts Phoenix from the Harry Potter World.

In this world, it had become his Nen Ability.

It was called Nen Beast Phoenix.

Lucky tried to "turn off" his Sharingan, and soon his eyes returned to black pupils.

It was good that he could turn it off. Otherwise, people would easily mistake them for Scarlet Eyes.

Still, he needed colored contacts. Come to think of it, did colored contacts even exist yet?

Lucky was not entirely sure.

He knew a fair amount about Hunter x Hunter, since it had been one of his favorite anime series.

However, he did not know the specific timeline very well.

But it was definitely before the plot began.

One reason was that the environment around him made that clear.

Lucky had been born in Keli City. That name might not mean much, but this city was home to the world-famous Heavenly Arena, making its location obvious.

It was the Hunter World's famous fighting city, and also where the protagonists Gon Freecss and Killua learned Nen.

Lucky had been born there. Though he had not been born to dead parents, it was close enough.

His father was unknown, while his mother had been a working woman of some profession. Only days after his birth, she had abandoned him. He had been lucky, or he might have died long ago.

Based on the Heavenly Arena, he could tell that the plot had not yet begun.

The Heavenly Arena was somewhat different from what he knew from the anime. First were the rewards, and then the various technologies and household appliances.

There were no large displays throughout the Heavenly Arena yet, and even televisions were still black and white.

Matches could only be watched in person. There were basically no recordings or live broadcasts.

It was quite different from the Heavenly Arena in the anime.

Another clue was Chairman Netero.

As a famous fighting city, it held a Fighting Tournament every few years, and the world-renowned martial artist Netero would also appear there.

Lucky had never met him in person, but there were newspapers, magazines, and photographs about him.

The current Netero was clearly much younger than he had been in the anime.

Lucky had every reason to believe there was still quite a long time before the "story began."

After familiarizing himself with the Sharingan, Lucky began making plans.

Having been reborn in the Hunter World and born with mastery over Nen Ability, his mindset was naturally different from his previous life.

What had once been nothing more than fantasy could now truly be realized.

He could now genuinely wield supernatural power, and he could truly take part in those exciting adventures from anime.

The many unknowns of the Hunter World also drew him in.

What exactly was the unknown Dark Continent like?

When Lucky had reincarnated, Hunter x Hunter had not even been completed.

Of course, if he wanted to experience those unknowns, he first needed great strength.

The Hunter World was not a safe world. It was even vastly different from an ordinary modern society.

The Mafia flourished, there were all kinds of wanted criminals, most countries did not ban guns, nations were at war, and Magical Beasts or dangerous species caused disasters.

Even within the human-known world, it was far from safe.

If he had to compare it to something, the Hunter World was actually much like the fantasy novel worlds Lucky had read in his previous life.

Fortunately, Lucky, who had been born with Nen, had already surpassed ordinary people by far.

Furthermore, his ability was connected to "other worlds," which meant his strength was destined to be anything but ordinary.

The only slight regret was that while the Sign-in ability was powerful, he could only sign in once every twelve years.

That interval was a little too long. And unless he could sign in for an ability that extended his lifespan, his ability had an upper limit.

Having arrived in a world with superpowers, how could Lucky not harbor ambitions of immortality or even "ascending to godhood"?

After all, Longevity Rice existed in the Hunter World.

Don Freecss had lived for hundreds of years.

Lucky believed that as long as he lived long enough, he would only grow stronger, and he would explore every unknown of this world.

He left the bathroom and lay down to sleep.
