Everything was just as it had always been.
Hawk stepped over the threshold into the main hall and looked at Moyu, who stood before the altar table.
That tall, slender figure left Hawk momentarily dazed.
Hearing footsteps, Moyu turned to look at Hawk.
"What are your plans now?"
He skipped the greetings and went straight to the question.
Hawk raised an eyebrow and retorted irritably, "Shouldn't I be asking you that? What are your plans now?"
"I want to visit Heavens Arena."
Moyu stated his intentions without hesitation.
He wanted to test All-Out in actual combat, and Heavens Arena had come to mind.
"Heavens Arena, huh..."
Hawk studied the young man Moyu had become, his heart brimming with pride and relief.
"Cheadle told me you got your Hunter License and decided to become a Bounty Hunter?"
Rather than asking why Moyu wanted to go to Heavens Arena, he asked about his career as a Professional Hunter.
"Yeah. Being a Bounty Hunter suits me."
Moyu's expression remained calm.
If he had obtained his Hunter License earlier, his accomplishments along the way would have been enough to earn him One-Star status.
But he wasn't as eager as Light to earn stars. He wanted to become a Bounty Hunter simply because he could gain something from hunting down criminals.
In short, he approved of the profession.
There were far too many beasts in this world who had lost all humanity...
He couldn't hunt down every monster wearing human skin, but at least where he could "see," he could keep tragedies like that kindhearted driver's from happening again.
Looking at Moyu's calm face, Hawk wanted to warn him of the dangers of being a Bounty Hunter. In the end, he held his tongue and asked instead:
"Moyu,
