The commotion instantly drew the attention of nearly everyone in the library to Shuichi Kanda.

"Sorry, my hand slipped."

Shuichi Kanda stood up, walked around the table, and headed over that way, offering an apology that carried no sincerity as he moved.

"Your hand slipped?"

Then Katsuragi blocked the flying pencil case, and Kanda stood up, walking toward Yahiko.

Yahiko, his face full of anger, strode forward quickly and reached out toward Kanda.

From the camera's angle, Yahiko's outstretched hand was blocked by Kanda's body, falling into the camera's blind spot. Whether he actually touched Kanda or not was impossible to tell.
