Grand Wizard's Treasure?

Wang Ya had to admit that he had underestimated just how wealthy wizard family freshmen were. Or rather, Moxi Bailin's status might have been even higher than Cardi "The Purple Gold Flower"'s. The items in the Wizard Artifact Bracelet were worth far more than what he had gained from Cardi "The Purple Gold Flower".

The desk in the study was covered with all sorts of objects that gave off obscure gleams and Particle Fluctuations—wizardry scrolls, wizard artifacts, and wizard potions rippling with temptation.

Under the warm lamplight, their multicolored radiance fell across Wang Ya's fair cheeks.

After calculating his current gains, Wang Ya had: four Low-level Wizardry Scrolls, two Mid-level Wizardry Scrolls, the low-level wizard artifact Mask of Lingering Dreams, one disposable wizard artifact Force Field Gem, the Wizard Array Spell Water Guardian, two Supernatural Potions Healing Potion, two Sweet Potions, and fifty Magic Stones.

Wang Ya could roughly estimate the prices in the Wizard World and the purchasing power of Magic Stones.

Moxi Bailin and Cardi "The Purple Gold Flower" together had possessed only fifty Magic Stones. As freshmen from wizard families, they could not possibly have been poor. Wang Ya still had thirty Magic Stones in his Red Metal Ring, bringing his total to eighty.

Wang Ya felt that there should not be any Wizard Freshman wealthier than him on Ancient Forest Mountain. Of course, freshmen from even more powerful wizard families might possess more resources.

The replenished wizardry scrolls made up for his previous consumption, with plenty to spare.

The only thing Wang Ya found regrettable was the lack of any inheritances of wizardry or Supernatural Knowledge.

He was not greedy. The thought merely swept through his mind; his current gains already left him extremely satisfied.

Once he entered Umbral Wizard Academy, these Supernatural Resources would allow him to pass perfectly through the initial stage and integrate into the system of The Umbral Expanse.

"Rules." Wang Ya's eyes flickered. Perhaps Wizard Yis had been right, but everyone had their own reasoning. In the end, only strength gave one the confidence to speak. If the wizard family's wizards on Ancient Forest Mountain were stronger than Wizard Yis, then rules would be little more than decorations.

Yet as an Island Freshman, he instinctively accepted Wizard Yis's position.

Wizards weighed gains and losses. If something benefited Wang Ya and he could bear the corresponding price, he would do it without hesitation.

"But this feeling of being passive is truly irritating." Wang Ya sighed again, diluting some of his joy.

The ordinary freshmen on the list would not be difficult to kill. It would take no more than a bit of time; he would not even need to use wizardry. After all, they were merely mortals whose bodies were somewhat stronger after undergoing Benign Radiation from particles.

Wang Ya began sorting through the Supernatural Items on the desk, focusing on confirming the specific functions of the wizard artifacts and wizard potions.

Thorn Entanglement, Wind God's Companion, Corrosive Acid, and Particle Shield—the wizardry corresponding to the four Low-level Wizardry Scrolls.

Fire Sun Star and Roaring Red Dragon—the wizardry corresponding to the two Mid-level Wizardry Scrolls.

Wang Ya was somewhat surprised. Two of the wizardry scrolls contained wizardry he had encountered before.

Fire Sun Star Wizardry was the Beginner Wizardry Anna Karina had chosen. When he killed her, he had not seen her cast even a spark of it. It truly proved Gray's words.

Among mid-level wizardry, this spell was considered the easiest to learn and master. Correspondingly, its power only just crossed the threshold of twenty.

It was an Advanced Wizardry created when some powerful wizard improved the low-level wizardry Flame Burst.

A hideous mask made from some wooden material, covered in crude markings like a child's dye-painted graffiti—the low-level wizard artifact Mask of Lingering Dreams. Once worn and infused with Particle Energy, it could activate its Supernatural Characteristics and alter one's facial appearance. Perhaps because it was only a low-level wizard artifact, its limitations were considerable. It could only alter the face, and even the aura around one's body was difficult to change completely.

The Silver Gem Moxi Bailin had once hurled was the Force Field Gem. It disrupted the Particle Fluctuation frequencies within a certain range, throwing them into chaos. Those whose strength was insufficient, or whose control over Particle Energy was not precise enough, would be affected and fail in their spellcasting.

After being consumed, a Healing Potion could restore bodily injuries and expel toxins to a certain extent. If the dead Arthur had drunk a bottle, perhaps his wounds could have been healed.

After being consumed, a Sweet Potion gathered the surrounding Natural Particle Energy and drew it in, accelerating the replenishment of depleted Particle Energy within the body.

A thoughtful look flickered through Wang Ya's eyes as he examined the final item: the Water Guardian that had formed Moxi Bailin's Blue Light Wave. It was a metal component implanted beneath the skin of the chest, engraved with all sorts of Wizard Runes and carrying intense Supernatural Fluctuations.

Wizard Array Spells could be said to be an alternative application of wizard array refinement, and Wang Ya's curiosity was stirred. There were more than a dozen metal fragments and components on the desk. Only a wizard proficient in this field could reassemble them and activate the Supernatural Ability they contained.

After studying them for a while, he gained little due to lacking the relevant Supernatural Knowledge. Wang Ya shook his head. Like the Thorn Heart, it could only be treated as a Supernatural Resource to sell.

A Wizard Array Spell component that triggered automatically and could save one's life was something he felt was worth at least as much as a Medium-level Wizard Artifact—something one could only hope to encounter by chance.

The exact value would need to be determined after he truly entered the supernatural market of the Wizard World.

He took out the Red Metal Ring and removed everything within: three books, two wizardry scrolls, and that unknown Ancient Metal Medallion.

After restoring some of the Particle Energy in his body, Wang Ya placed everything into the Silver Bracelet and put it on his left wrist.

Although the Silver Bracelet was of a lower grade than the Red Metal Ring, it suited Wang Ya's use better and consumed less Particle Energy. Its only flaw was that its storage space was somewhat smaller.

Most importantly, it was safe. Moxi Bailin was dead, and even the Bailin Family, with Wizard Yis eyeing them like a tiger watching its prey, might not come through unscathed.

The Red Metal Ring was unknown and mysterious. Wang Ya preferred things that were known, things within his control. If he could not uncover its origins, he would find an opportunity to sell the ring. It should fetch quite a few resources.

One item still remained on the desk: that book which seemed to be a diary, yet had been sealed away through wizard array refinement, spell-formula confinement, and even Special Wizardry.

Wang Ya's curiosity had never faded, and fine blue glimmers flickered in his pupils. He wanted to see just what this diary was.

Wang Ya froze. Fifteen Days—this was not merely the time needed to finish analyzing it and open it, but the time needed to work out a method to break the wizard array refinement and the wizardry seal.
