'Clang!'

A massive sonic boom erupted as Daddy's barrier effortlessly blocked Arlong's giant saw-blade, Zanpo.

"Scum! Is this the strength of the Fish-Man Race you're so proud of?"

Daddy sneered at Arlong, shoved him aside, and immediately slashed at him with the Sandai Kitetsu in his hand.

"Hmph! We Fish-Men are born with ten times the arm strength of humans! We are the noblest race!"

Seeing that Daddy was a troublesome Devil Fruit user, Arlong immediately tried to lure him toward the seawater; as long as they were on the ocean, he could easily kill this ability user!

"Oh? Then what kind of trashy nobles do you think the Celestial Dragons are? How do they compare to your noble Fish-Man Race?"

'Barrier: Death Duel Cage!'

Daddy crossed his index and middle fingers, tracing a frame in the air. A massive cubic barrier instantly materialized, trapping him and Arlong inside and completely cutting off any path for Arlong to escape!

"What! You actually... dare to insult the Celestial Dragons?"

Arlong stared at Daddy in disbelief, a flicker of admiration even rising in his heart, though he quickly extinguished the emotion; every human was his enemy!

Refusing to accept reality, Arlong desperately hacked at the transparent barrier walls Daddy had created, but he used so much force that he even chipped a tooth off his giant saw-blade, Zanpo.

"It seems I have to kill you to break this damn cage!"

Arlong quickly regained his composure. He knew he couldn't break this barrier, but he had once followed the Sun Pirates and encountered many seemingly invincible Devil Fruit users, only for them to eventually fall at the hands of the Fish-Men!

"Correct! Killing me will indeed break the Death Duel Cage! But today, it's either you die or I perish!"

A red glint flashed in Daddy's eyes as he charged forward with the Sandai Kitetsu. He was determined to slaughter this Fish-Man today; even if Jinbe the Knight of the Sea arrived, it would be useless!

"Arrogant brat! Then I'll let you know the terror of us Sawtooth Shark-Fishmen!"

Arlong laughed hideously, then raised the chipped Zanpo and swung it down with a vicious hack. The immense power caused the giant blade to bend into a deep arc.

"Then let me see it! You trashy Fish-Man!"

'Basic Technique: Armament: Divine Departure!!'

Daddy suddenly accelerated before coming to a dead stop, his feet carving a massive crater into the ground as stones sprayed everywhere. With terrifying force, he swung the Sandai Kitetsu upward, the blade bending under the immense tension.

Meanwhile, Arlong leaped high into the air, holding the giant saw-blade with both hands, intending to use the momentum of his dive to cleave the bastard Daddy in two!

'Clang!'

'Squelch!'

The collision between Daddy and Arlong was certainly not as terrifying as that of the Pirate King Roger and Whitebeard Newgate, nor was there a stalemate of clashing Conqueror's Haki.

Their contact lasted only an instant; the Zanpo was snapped in two by the Sandai Kitetsu, which was coated in Armament Haki. The horrific force traveled from Arlong's abdomen all the way up to his chin, even slicing off his signature saw-tooth nose.

The greater Arlong's diving force had been, the more the damage he suffered was doubled!

This explosive scene left Hatchan and Kuroobi wide-eyed; their big brother Arlong had actually been defeated!

Nami and Nojiko, who had just arrived, covered their mouths, watching with exhilaration as Daddy sent Arlong flying.

Their village could truly be liberated from Arlong's grasp today!

"Come on! Stand up! Let me see that noble head of yours!!!"

Daddy grinned and shouted, dragging the Sandai Kitetsu as he walked slowly toward him, every step radiating overwhelming pressure!

"Ugh-ha~, how could you... possess Armament Haki...?"

Arlong vomited a mouthful of blood, his eyes filled with panic. In a place like the East Blue, why would someone have Armament Haki?

Even in the Grand Line, few people mastered Armament Haki; only the powerful pirates of the New World generally possessed such terrifying strength.

"You only dare to act arrogant in a place like the East Blue; in the New World, you're nothing but trash! Noble race? You seem to have forgotten the origin of the Sun Tattoo on your chest. If you've got the guts, go kill a Celestial Dragon and see what happens!"

Daddy stepped onto Arlong's wound, making him wince and turn deathly pale, though endless fury erupted in his eyes.

The teeth in Arlong's mouth grew frantically, snapping toward the foot Daddy had planted on him, intent on completely crippling Daddy's leg.

Daddy let Arlong gnaw on his leg; the terrifying bite force caused Arlong's shark teeth to shatter and fly off, sparking countless flashes of light.

Daddy raised the Sandai Kitetsu high, his eyes filled with killing intent, and drove it deep into Arlong's skull. He gripped the hilt tightly with both hands and twisted it two and a half times counter-clockwise, completely pulverizing his brain.

Arlong, who had been biting frantically, stopped in an instant and collapsed limply at Daddy's feet. Arlong's blood shimmered on the Sandai Kitetsu before being slowly absorbed, making the entire scene appear eerie and supernatural.

"Arlong is dead!!"

Nami and Nojiko screamed wildly, tears streaming down their faces. The murderer who had killed their foster mother, Bell-mère, was finally dead, and Cocoyasi Village was about to be liberated!

The villagers also slammed their heads against the ground, crying and wailing frantically, releasing all the repression they had endured over these past years.

"No! Big Brother Arlong!!"

Kuroobi, Chu, and Hatchan all stared in terror at the slain Arlong; they had never expected Arlong to die so quickly!

Weren't Daddy and Arlong both pirates with a bounty of twenty million?

On the other side, Sonic El Drago was equally ruthless, directly blasting away the entire upper half of Chu's body. Even if the villagers wanted to turn him in for the bounty, the Navy probably wouldn't even recognize the remains!

Only Hatchan did not die on the spot; he had been slashed by Zoro, who broke six of his swords and left a massive wound across his chest. He sprayed blood, went into shock, and collapsed to the ground with a fading breath.

Daddy pulled out the Sandai Kitetsu and hoisted Arlong's corpse!

"Your twenty-million bounty is your limit, but my twenty-million bounty is only because you, as the highest-bountied criminal in the East Blue, limited the Navy's assessment of me!"

Daddy deactivated the Death Duel Cage and tossed Arlong's corpse in front of Nami and the others, then walked toward the harbor with a cold expression, for there were still more Fish-Men returning from the sea.

Today, he would let the Sandai Kitetsu drink its fill of Fish-Man blood once more!
