"Scum! Is this the Fish-Man Race's strength that you're so proud of?"
Daddi sneered at Arlong, knocked him back, and immediately swung Sandai Kitetsu at him.
"Hmph! We Fish-Men are born with ten times the arm strength of humans! We're the noblest race!"
Seeing that Daddi was a troublesome Devil Fruit User, Arlong immediately tried to lure him toward the water. As long as they were at sea, he could easily kill this Devil Fruit User!
"Oh? Then what kind of scum do you think the Celestial Dragons are? How do they compare to you, you noble Fish-Man?"

Daddi crossed the index and middle fingers of his left hand and drew a frame. A huge cubic barrier instantly appeared around them, trapping him and Arlong inside and completely cutting off Arlong's escape!
"What! You actually... dared to insult the Celestial Dragons?"
Arlong stared at Daddi in disbelief. He even felt a hint of admiration, but quickly crushed the feeling. Every human was his enemy!
Still refusing to accept it, Arlong furiously slashed at the transparent barrier walls Daddi had created. He swung so hard that he chipped a sawtooth off Great Saw Blade: Kiribachi.
"Looks like I have to kill you to break this damn cage!"
Arlong quickly understood the situation. He knew he couldn't break the barrier. He had once followed the Sun Pirates and encountered many seemingly invincible Devil Fruit Users, but in the end, they had still fallen to the Fish-Men!
"Exactly! Killing me will break the Death Duel Cage!
"But today, one of us is going to die!"
A red gleam flashed in Daddi's eyes. He charged at Arlong with Sandai Kitetsu in hand. Today, he would kill this Fish-Man, even if Knight of the Sea Jinbe showed up!
"You arrogant brat! I'll show you the terror of the Sawtooth Shark-Fishmen!"
Arlong grinned viciously, then raised Great Saw Blade: Kiribachi, its sawtooth chipped, and swung down with all his might. His tremendous strength bent the massive blade into a wide arc.
"Then show me! You scum Fish-Man!"
Basic Technique: Armament—Divine Departure!!
Daddi suddenly accelerated, then abruptly stopped, stamping a huge crater into the ground. Stones flew everywhere as Sandai Kitetsu swung upward with terrifying force, bending into an arc as well.
Arlong leaped high into the air, gripping the great saw blade in both hands. He intended to use the force of his dive to cleave the bastard Daddi in half!

The clash between Daddi and Arlong was nowhere near as terrifying as one between Pirate King Roger and Whitebeard Newgate. Nor did they lock blades at a distance with Conqueror's Haki.
Their weapons met for just an instant before Sandai Kitetsu, coated in Armament Haki, cut through Great Saw Blade: Kiribachi. The terrifying force tore into Arlong from his abdomen all the way up to his chin, even cutting off his sawtoothed nose.
The greater the force behind Arlong's dive, the more damage he suffered in return!

Arlong was sent flying and slammed into the transparent barrier, suffering a second devastating blow!
Hatchan and Kuroobi stared wide-eyed at the explosive scene. Their big brother Arlong had actually been defeated!
Nami, Nojiko, and the others had just arrived. They covered their mouths, watching Daddi knock Arlong flying with exhilaration.
Their village could finally be freed from Arlong today!
"Come on! Get up! Let me see that noble head of yours!!!"
Daddi called out with a grin, then slowly walked over, dragging Sandai Kitetsu behind him. Every step radiated menace!
"Ugh... how can you use... Armament Haki...?"
Arlong coughed up blood, a trace of fear in his eyes. Why was there someone who could use Armament Haki in a place like the East Blue?
Even on the Grand Line, not many people could use Armament Haki. It was only among the powerful pirates of the New World that this terrifying ability was commonly found.
"You only dare act tough in a place like the East Blue. In the New World, you'd be nothing but trash!
"And you call yourself a noble race? You seem to have forgotten where the Sun Tattoo on your chest came from. If you've got the guts, go kill a Celestial Dragon!"
Daddi planted a foot on Arlong's wound, making him grimace in pain and go deathly pale. Yet his eyes blazed with fury.
The Sun Tattoo worn by the Sun Pirates had originally been created to cover the Hoof of the Soaring Dragon branded on their captain, Tiger, when he was a slave.
They had joined the Sun Pirates and received the tattoo because they admired Tiger, who had dared to defy the Celestial Dragons!
"Unforgivable! You humans will be drowned beneath the Fish-Men's fury!!"
Iron Tooth Technique: Shark Gear!!
The teeth in Arlong's mouth grew wildly as he bit at the foot Daddi had planted on him, determined to cripple one of Daddi's legs.
Barrier: Diamond Leg!
Daddi let Arlong bite his foot. The terrifying force of Arlong's jaws caused his shark teeth to shatter one after another, sending sparks everywhere.
"Dying in a fit of madness isn't such a bad fate!"
Daddi raised Sandai Kitetsu high, murder in his eyes, and plunged it into Arlong's head. Gripping the hilt tightly with both hands, he twisted the blade counterclockwise two and a half times, completely shredding Arlong's brain.
Arlong's frenzied biting stopped instantly. He slumped at Daddi's feet. His blood gleamed on Sandai Kitetsu before slowly being absorbed, lending the scene an eerie air.
"Arlong is dead!!"
Nami, Nojiko, and the others screamed, tears streaming down their faces. The man who had killed their foster mother, Bell-mère, was finally dead. Cocoyasi Village would be free!
The villagers threw themselves to the ground, weeping and screaming as they released years of pent-up anguish.
"No! Big brother Arlong!!"
Kuroobi, Chu, and Hatchan stared at Arlong's corpse in terror. They hadn't expected him to die so quickly!
Weren't Daddi and Arlong both pirates with twenty-million-berry bounties?
How could the difference in their strength be so enormous?!
"Heh! Don't worry! You'll be going to hell too!"
Kuro sneered cruelly, then became a blur and unleashed a merciless silent dismemberment attack on Kuroobi.
He could spare Iron Wall Pearl once, since he could recruit him as a subordinate. But Daddi had already ordered the Fish-Men killed, so Kuro wouldn't show them any mercy.
Meanwhile, Sonic El Drago showed no mercy either. He blasted away Chu's entire upper body. Even if a villager tried to collect the bounty, the Marines probably wouldn't accept it!
Only the octopus Hatchan survived the battle. Zoro had cut off six of his swords and left a huge wound across his chest. He had passed out from blood loss and lay on the ground, barely breathing.
Daddi pulled out Sandai Kitetsu and picked up Arlong's corpse!
"Your twenty-million-berry bounty was your limit. My twenty-million-berry bounty is only because you're the East Blue's most wanted pirate, which has skewed the Marines' judgment of me!"
Daddi dispelled the Death Duel Cage and tossed Arlong's corpse in front of Nami and the others. Then he walked toward the harbor, his expression cold. More Fish-Men were returning there by the minute.
Today, he would let Sandai Kitetsu drink deep of Fish-Man blood once again!
