East Blue.
Goa Kingdom.
The waters near Koto Island.
The vast, boundless blue ocean stretched out beneath a clear, cloudless sky.
A luxury cruise ship was hosting a banquet, lively and extravagant.
The crowd was bustling; tourists clinked glasses and chatted about everything under the sun, a scene of pure revelry.
It was as if a slice of the imperial capital's finest nightlife had been transplanted here.
A young man with green hair was chatting animatedly with a beautiful girl sporting short orange hair.
He alternated between witty, exaggerated expressions and raising his glass for a flirtatious toast.
At this moment, as if they had touched upon something delightful, the girl with short orange hair covered her mouth and giggled.
It was a picture of pure, romantic bliss.
On the other side, a burly sailor was working hard to fish a wooden barrel drifting aimlessly in the sea.
His face was wreathed in smiles, as if he had discovered a hidden treasure.
Perhaps this barrel held a significant haul.
Was it fine wine? Maybe, just maybe, it was gold and silver treasure.
The thought was absurd, but one must have dreams—what if they actually came true?
A windfall might just arrive like a sudden storm.
Seagulls soared with the wind, gliding leisurely over the cruise ship.
Just then.
Above the heads of the green-haired young man and the beautiful girl with short orange hair, a ripple like water appeared in the void.
Bang!
A young man with short hair, wearing a white T-shirt and black casual trousers, tumbled out of the illusory ripple in the air.
"What the hell is going on!"
Moya let out a standard, quintessential curse from his homeland, grumbling in frustration.
Rubbing his aching, numb waist, Moya looked up and scanned his surroundings.
In that instant, Moya's eyes widened, his heart filled with utter shock.
He looked at the crowd around him, their hair dyed in every color of the rainbow, pointing at him and speaking in a language with a cadence much like that of a certain island nation.
Had he accidentally stumbled into a gathering of the "Shamate" subculture?
Moya quickly calmed himself, forcing a bit of humor into his inner monologue.
Moya pondered silently; he had been on the rooftop just moments ago, wanting to catch a glimpse of the so-called "Nine-Star Alignment," a rare astronomical phenomenon touted as the spectacle of the century.
Because certain news outlets and social media accounts had been blowing this "once-in-a-millennium" event out of proportion every single day, it had been a relentless bombardment of information.
Still, it had piqued a bit of Moya's interest, so he had gone to the rooftop with nothing better to do to see this supposed wonder.
However, he ultimately found that without any astronomical equipment, he had spent his time on the roof looking at absolutely nothing.
Then, he had inadvertently noticed a flicker of illusion before his eyes. Thinking his vision was blurred from watching too much anime, binging too many shows, and playing too many games, he had reached out to touch it.
And then... there was no "then." He had just abruptly fallen into this place.
There was no eerie black hole, no thunderous roar from the sky, no lightning strike.
He hadn't been hit by a car, flushed down a toilet, or subjected to any flashy, colorful special effects.
Could he have transmigrated?
Was it a travel within this world?
Or a travel to another world?
But could he at least get a shred of scientific basis?
A void wormhole? Spatial jump?
Or was it just "when in doubt, blame quantum mechanics"?
His thoughts returned to the present.
Looking at the chattering crowd of "Shamate" aristocrats, he felt as if he were witnessing the glorious peak of the post-90s generation from his homeland.
Ignoring the crowd, Moya sat upright, slowly pressed his palms together, and closed his eyes, his face wearing a look of pious, holy devotion.
Yet, deep inside, he was screaming in a panic, feeling utterly terrified.
"Is the God of Transmigration there?"
"Is there a soul-bound old master?"
"Is there a Golden Finger big brother out there?"
"System, are you there? Could you please send over my newbie starter pack?"
"If you're there, please respond... Ah, Jade Emperor, Immeasurable Heavenly Venerable, Amitabha, God, Allah."
Everyone, including Moya, was stunned for a long moment, but it seemed as if nothing happened at all.
It felt as though a flock of crows was slowly flying through the air.
An awkward atmosphere began to spread.
Moya felt incredibly awkward and uncomfortable, and what was worse, his language didn't match theirs at all!
How am I supposed to survive this? Damn it! I want to go home, I want to go home!
The green-haired man, looking bewildered, shouted, "Who are you? What are you doing here? Where did you come from?"
However, in the face of this high-quality triple-question interrogation.
All Moya heard was #¥%#¥@..., a bunch of garbled noise.
He was speechless, looking up at the heavens!
Just as Moya was wondering how to bluff his way through, he suddenly saw a face that looked very familiar on the orange-haired beauty beside him.
Staring at the beautiful orange-haired woman in shock and suspicion, he asked, "Are you Nami??"
The beautiful orange-haired woman's pupils constricted; although the pronunciation of "Nami" in his native tongue was slightly different from the tone used in this world.
But with Nami's intelligence, she had already guessed that Moya might have recognized her.
Nami didn't want the people on the ship to know her identity; after all, she was a member of Arlong's Fishman pirate crew, nicknamed the "Cat Burglar"!
Adhering to the principle of striking first, Nami quickly lunged forward with a kick aimed at Moya's crotch, hoping to subdue him in one blow.
She even shouted craftily, "This is the pervert who molested me earlier!"
Seeing Nami's strange expression and aggressive approach, Moya knew he was in trouble.
Did I recognize her wrong? Is this not the world of One Piece? he thought.
But his body wouldn't just stand there like a fool. Watching this beautiful woman who looked exactly like Nami kick toward his source of masculine happiness.
Moya panicked, jumping back repeatedly to dodge Nami's strike! He was just about to start cursing.
"Boom! Bang!"
Suddenly, the sound of cannon fire and exploding wood came from outside. The entire cruise ship swayed from side to side, and dishes and cups crashed to the floor in a chaotic mess.
Only then did Moya realize he was on a ship.
A moment later, the heart-wrenching screams of sailors came from outside: "We're under pirate attack! Get your weapons! Guards! Guards, assemble!"
The entire party descended into chaos. The punks scattered in all directions, and the green-haired man fell to the ground, trembling as he said, "Everyone, please stay calm, stay calm!"
As he spoke, the green-haired man himself began to run away in a panic, disappearing somewhere.
Although he couldn't understand what they were shouting, looking at the chaotic crowd.
Moya knew with his eyes closed that something major must have happened.
At this moment, Moya saw the woman who looked like Nami take the opportunity to run away.
Moya didn't care anymore, and he couldn't afford to; he didn't even share a language with these people, and his combat ability seemed inferior to hers.
He hurriedly checked the direction and, following the flow of the crowd, began to run like a headless chicken.
He pondered inwardly, Could this be a terrorist attack? Where on earth have I transmigrated to!
Could this be a tourist ship from some island nation passing through Somali waters?
There shouldn't be such a stupid tourist ship, right? Wandering around in a pirate paradise.
And is that orange-haired girl really Nami? Is this really the world of One Piece?
The time was too short, the events too complex, his thoughts too scattered, and the language barrier too high.
Moya's mind was a complete mush; he couldn't think, and his brain felt like a blank slate.
