The military air force arrived late, but it was still helpless against Namor underwater.

As the waves continued advancing toward the city center, the water level in the city rose higher and higher, while Namor's home-field advantage grew stronger.

The big shots in the city had already fled in private helicopters as soon as the incident occurred, but while the monks might escape, their temples could not; their businesses were still here.

After confirming that they had reached a safe zone, the important figures remembered their property as well. Unable to sit still, they called various powerful government officials and pressured them to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

But against something underwater, planes and tanks were useless. They had no choice but to find professionals who specialized in dealing with abnormal incidents, and so Nick Fury appeared once again.

After arriving at the scene, Nick first called Tony and Peter over and asked them to lead a team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents underwater, but the two rejected him in unison.

Tony and Peter had no sense of being superheroes yet. Saving people was influenced by their own moral values, but asking them to give up their lives just to play the hero was out of the question.
