Throw Evaluation and Proficiency

Darts grants proficiency when a throw meets the Panel's requirements. Better placement and execution provide larger rewards, with evaluations including Qualified, Excellent, Superior, and Perfect. Bullseyes initially produced Perfect evaluations and high proficiency gains. 10

• A basic qualifying throw grants +1 proficiency. 10
• Excellent throws grant +2 proficiency. 10
• Early bullseyes could grant +4 proficiency; later Perfect bullseyes at Lv3 granted +5. 10 20
• Standardized movements can also exercise the wrist, forearm, and fingers, increasing Chen Jue's Strength. 12 15 20
• Competitive victories provide unusually large proficiency gains and improve Chen Jue's focus and competitive state. 27

Needle-Dart Throwing

The skill initially manifested through British needle darts, a target sport with a standard throwing distance of 2.44 meters. 9 10 16

• Zhu Hongbin taught Chen Jue to grip the dart with his fingers, swing the forearm, and explosively release with the wrist. 12
• Chen Jue adopted a fast, straight-line throwing style rather than a softer lobbing technique. 26
• At Lv4, his needle-dart ability was described as professional level, with no further technical secrets remaining in conventional practice. 27
• After reaching Lv4, he could hit the bullseye roughly six or seven times in ten throws, but ordinary close-range practice stopped producing proficiency. 28
• Throwing from approximately five meters or farther restored progression by increasing the difficulty and required force adjustment. 28

Broad Projectile Application

Darts is not limited to sport darts. The Panel classifies accurate throws using stones and other projectiles under the same skill. 22

• Chen Jue gained Darts proficiency by throwing stones at trees, even while using his right hand. 22
• He used a signature pen as a dart, embedding it in a sofa beside Zhou Yong to force a proper discussion of his severance. 22
• Traditional martial-arts darts, knives, needles, chopsticks, and other throwable objects fall within the skill's broader practical scope. 22 23 40
• Chen Jue used an unsharpened sword-shaped dart to kill a fleeing Pit Bull with a throat strike, preventing further danger after it attacked a child. 30 32
• Moving targets provide greater difficulty and substantially larger proficiency gains than stationary targets. 32

Handedness

Chen Jue is naturally right-handed, but he developed his Darts skill primarily with his left hand because his right arm was injured when the skill activated. 9 19

• The Panel's repeated form corrections allowed his left hand to reach amateur level in only a few days. 16
• His recovered right hand initially performed far worse than his trained left hand, despite being naturally stronger and more flexible. 19 20
• Continuous left-handed training strengthened his left arm, wrist, and forearm. 12 15 20
