Strength, endurance, speed, explosive power—after devouring Monroe, Dimon's physical abilities had improved across the board by an entire level.
Now, he could take on a hundred versions of himself from one minute ago.
Not only that, Dimon had also mastered the Observation Haki Monroe possessed.
Unfortunately, that man did not know Armament Haki. He was only some small fry with a bounty of 55 million, so Dimon did not care.
If this one did not have it, the next target would.
"Time to deliver the wine."
Dimon left. Not long after, Old Rock came in to clean up the aftermath, but when he did not see Monroe, his whole body trembled.
He was gone?
Rock frowned deeply. He had been guarding the door the entire time, and the basement had no other exits.
Then there was only one answer.
"Did Lord Dimon eat him?" Kuro was not afraid. Instead, he was thrilled.
A demon was meant to eat people—that was what made it a demon!
As long as Lord Dimon was there, their Kingdom of Cho would one day take revenge on the Celestial Dragons!
Skull Grand Hotel, top-floor banquet hall.
By the time Dimon arrived carrying two bottles of Wine of Immortality, the main members of the Rocks Pirates were already waiting.
"You're finally here, Dimon. We've been waiting for you for ages."
Rocks laughed heartily and rose to introduce him to everyone. "He is our new member, the brewer Dimon!"
In an instant, countless appraising gazes settled on Dimon.
Dimon studied them as well. Aside from Captain Rocks, there were fourteen core members.
He had met half of them before. The rest were unfamiliar faces.
"So you're the newcomer everyone's been talking about? I'm John."
A man with long pale-purple hair sat on the sofa, greeting him while drinking heartily. Clearly, he was a pirate who lived for alcohol.
Dimon nodded to him, then looked at the others.
"My name is Ochoku."
"Xiong."
"Marlon..."
"Gansui!"
"Just call me Babel, newbie."
"Gil Bastar. Rocks said you have some miraculous wine? Is that what you're holding?"
Every one of them was a renowned Great Pirate. Dimon had seen their wanted posters.
The lowest bounty among them belonged to the "apprentice" Kaido, who, like Dimon, had a bounty of 500 million.
"Nice to meet you all."
Dimon smiled faintly and replied politely. Then, carrying the wine, he walked to the long table in the banquet hall, selected seven glass cups, and poured Wine of Immortality into them.
By the time he finished pouring, everyone had already gathered around.
Rocks stared at the crimson wine. "This is the Wine of Immortality?"
"This cup is mine!"
Charlotte Linlin did not stand on ceremony. She grabbed a cup and gulped it down in one go.
Golden Lion was no slower. He quickly snatched a cup and drained it in a single swallow.
Then Whitebeard, Gloriosa, Stussy, and Streusen all made their moves as well.
"This taste... good wine!"
Streusen, nicknamed the Gourmet Knight, merely took a small sip before his eyes widened in amazement. "Every cell in my body is cheering! Ah, it tastes ten thousand times better than Shakky's wine!"
Was it really that exaggerated?
Even Dimon was curious. He had never tasted it himself.
Suddenly.
A sharp blade pierced through Streusen's chest from behind, blood streaming down from the wound.
"That hurts, bastard!" Streusen turned around and glared furiously at the culprit.
If you can't find it by searching the book title, try searching for the author instead! It may have simply been renamed!
Golden Lion pulled out his sword, only to see the blood flow backward as the wound rapidly healed.
He grinned. "Jihahahaha, I was just testing the effect."
"If you want to test it, cut yourself!"
At the provocation, Streusen immediately drew his blade.
"Stop it, you two idiots." Rocks curled his lip, long accustomed to his crew coming to blows at the slightest disagreement.
They were all unruly Great Pirates. Only when he was around could they be kept in check.
Stussy and Gloriosa did not join the farce. Both of them were busy admiring themselves in mirrors.
Whitebeard merely lowered his head and looked at his palm, clenching his fist as though sensing the changes in his body.
Meanwhile, those who had not gotten any wine all revealed looks of shock.
An immortal body!
Even if their bodies were pierced through, they could recover in the blink of an eye!
The few of them exchanged glances, then all fixed their eyes on the last cup of wine on the table.
But no one dared to snatch it.
Rocks reached out, picked up the final cup, and drained it in one gulp.
"How does it feel?" Dimon watched the newly born immortals with a smile. To him, they were all premium leeks.
"Just like Streusen said, every cell in my body is cheering. Incredible, Dimon. To brew this kind of wine with Devil Fruits—you're practically a genius!"
Rocks threw back his head and laughed. He could feel the difference in his body.
Seeing that the last cup had been drunk as well, the remaining people could no longer sit still.
John sniffed the air. The rich aroma of wine made his Adam's apple bob. He lowered his head to look at the bottle in his hand and suddenly found it utterly unappealing.
"Dimon, is there any more? It's not right to leave us out. We're comrades, after all."
Wang Zhi's eyes were equally blazing. "That's right, that's right. There should be more, right?"
Dimon chuckled. "One cup of wine for one Devil Fruit. As long as you can bring me the fruits, you can drink as much as you want."
"Devil Fruits?" Xiong's gaze flickered, as though he had understood something. "I see. No wonder you went out and captured Celestial Dragons some time ago."
Seeing this, Rocks snorted coldly, his tone unfriendly. "Anyone who wants to drink should prepare Devil Fruits. No one is allowed to lay a hand on Dimon, or I'll kill him!"
The captain's order—indeed, his threat—was clearly effective.
Marlon lit a cigar and smiled. "There can't be anyone that stupid, right? We may be pirates, but we treat brewers gently. Aren't they just Devil Fruits? We can just go steal one."
"Then I wish you good luck."
Dimon was more than happy to see this. With this group helping him collect them, it would be far faster than searching for them himself.
Remembering something, Rocks suddenly asked, "Dimon, does this wine work on giants?"
"As long as it's a living creature, it works." Dimon nodded. "Giants are no different."
"Is that so? Then that's perfect. Come with me." Rocks narrowed his eyes. "Elbaf, the Giant Kingdom!"
Before Dimon could ask, Whitebeard took the initiative to explain:
"Rocks has always wanted to recruit the giant king. He's probably planning to use the Elixir of Immortality to win him over."
Kaido curled his lip. "Wouldn't it be easier to just use violence and make him submit?"
Rocks kicked him. "Harald is my friend. I warned you about this, didn't I, Kaido?"
Kaido was clearly unconvinced. He glared at Rocks, looking ready to start fighting at the slightest disagreement.
They were all immortals now. Who was afraid of whom?
Charlotte Linlin immediately stepped in to smooth things over. "Calm down, you two idiots."
Just as the members of the Rocks Pirates became immortals...
Elbaf, the Land of War.
Royal Palace.
The giant king Harald, whose body far surpassed that of ordinary giants, wore a grave expression.
Before him sat a Den Den Mushi, through which the Five Elders' voices rang out.
"The conditions for Elbaf to join the World Government!"
"Harald, go kill..."
"Rocks!"
