Sulu was certain that there was no belief in the God of Death on the Dragon Continent.
Even among the ancestral spirits, there is not one who claims to have the power of death.
"That was a great being from elsewhere... and His faith gradually faded away here?"
Sulu took a deep breath, feeling his palms getting sweaty.
If it weren't for Twilight of the Gods, he would most likely have turned and run away.
To rashly explore a church of such a being would most likely attract the attention of a great being, who would then bestow upon it some indescribable curse.
"But even the Mother Earth isn't channeling her power here..."
"Isn't this what I've been looking for? Compared to the relics and legacies left by legends... the treasures left by the gods are more likely to make me rich overnight!"
Risk and opportunity coexist!
At this stage, the opportunities here are greater and the risks are lower! Enough to make Sulu's heart flutter!
After thinking for a moment, Sulu stepped back a few paces, a Shadow Clone appeared, he took a deep breath, and pushed open the door.
Squeak!
The gate appeared intact, but it was actually quite dilapidated.
With a gentle push, it let out a mournful cry of unbearable strain, fell backward, and shattered into pieces on the ground like glass.
The Shadow Clone glanced around, confirmed that nothing unusual had happened, and then entered the church.
The most eye-catching thing is a moon-shaped decoration that is framed and placed high above.
"The moon... exists in many worlds, and is seen as a collection of the spiritual negative aspects, closely related to death..."
The Shadow Clone muttered something, glancing around with some suspicion.
The church was large, and there were many skeletons on the seats, suggesting that many people had gathered there for worship but had encountered a sudden death.
The Shadow Clone walked to the very front, in front of the preaching Priest.
The other person remained standing, wearing a tattered black priest's robe, with a thick tome in front of him.
It was a thick, ancient book with a white cover, and the parchment seemed to contain a lot of writing, interspersed with occult symbols.
"Huh?"
The Shadow Clone's eyelids twitched, and it took a step forward, making a slight contact.
Splash!
The Bone Priest could no longer maintain his standing posture and turned into a pile of broken bones that fell to the ground.
The tremors seemed to trigger a chain reaction, causing all the skeletons inside the church, whether standing or seated, to fall to the ground in an instant, some even turning to ashes.
'Feel sorry...'
The Shadow Clone felt a cold sweat, but the next moment, his gaze was drawn to the scripture.
But knowing the gravity of the situation, he didn't read it; instead, with immense willpower, he closed the book.
Snap!
The book closed, revealing a snow-white, hard cover with an embossed design of flowers and bones.
A line of Gulam Language appeared.
"This is... bones, flowers, and death..."
The Shadow Clone murmured, its pupils suddenly shrinking to pinpoints.
The moment he uttered those words.
Everything around us became blurred! Everything in the world seemed to have lost its color!
His mind was stagnant; he could not see, hear, speak... or even think.
The next instant.
The Shadow Clone simply vanished.
Outside the church.
"This feeling... this feeling..."
Sulu staggered back several steps, his spirit shaken by the demise of his Shadow Clone, his body trembling slightly.
What horrified him most was not the demise of the Shadow Clone, but the feeling! Even his thoughts were frozen, and only the feeling of eternal death remained!
It felt as if I had returned to the White Tower, enduring the weakened attacks of the gods!
That absolute crushing power and overwhelming force, the feeling of being like an ant, he would never forget it in his life!
"It's the death god who interfered with my ritual, influenced Beatrice, and is hiding behind the Black Death Society! He also has faith here!"
Sulu said in a low voice.
His desire to explore suddenly became extremely strong.
This deity has truly stood on the opposite side of him, and we must gain a better understanding of it.
Of course, saying this seems a bit funny, like an ant mistaking Great Dragon for an enemy.
But Sulu knew very well that there would eventually be a result between him and Beatrice, and it would be only natural for him to be taken into the sight of this deity after his victory.
"The power just now... wasn't Spirit Descent, but rather something that was originally stored here..."
"Send multiple Shadow Clone to explore... and eventually we'll be able to wear it down."
Having made up his mind, Sulu sent another Shadow Clone inside.
A few seconds later, his expression shifted as he sensed the death of his Shadow Clone.
But before he died, a message arrived. "Goddess of Death, Lady Moon?"
Along with this title comes a three-part prayer containing the honorific name, Sulu certainly wouldn't be foolish enough to read or perform.
"It seems this person's domain is death, and their authority is the moon? Very powerful..."
Death and the moon are both domains of immense power.
"Why am I doing so poorly in the Main World, even becoming Evil God?"
"However, perhaps they simply enjoy mingling among Evil God? After all, there are those indescribable Demon... who also didn't choose to become righteous gods, but instead take pleasure in humanity's fear and despair..."
Sulu sat quietly for a moment, and then another Shadow Clone walked out and entered the church.
As the night passed, the first rays of dawn appeared.
After several Shadow Clone sacrificed themselves, Sulu finally succeeded in reading the ' Death Scripture ' through his Shadow Clone.
"From a doctrinal perspective, this Lady Moon isn't too evil; at most, she's neutral... Why did the Black Death Society in the Main World become like that? Did they later shift their allegiance?"
Sulu also obtained a lot of useful information from that scripture.
For example, two career paths!
One path belongs to undead creatures, and is very similar to Beatrice's advancement path.
He suspects that Dragon I also obtained the [Undead] profession through the exploration of the Lady Moon's ruins in this world.
The other path, however, is the branch for Apprentice, and it's the path Sean chose—[The Doom-Bringer]!
"[Apprentice] -- [The Doom-Bringer] -- [Necromancer] -- [Necromancer Doctor of Lost Souls -- [King of Necro-Spirits] -- [Emperor of Doom]!"
"The manual only records the job information up to [Doctor of Lost Souls]. As for the fifth and sixth tier jobs, it only gives them names... I never imagined that this job path would lead directly to the sixth tier!"
Thinking back on her initial choice, Sulu couldn't help but feel a little emotional.
Rhode initially brought the [Doom-Bringer] profession, but without a corresponding [Apprentice]. Due to the urgency of the situation and other reasons, he chose the path of [Medium].
"Now it seems that the [Doom-Bringer] class, with its core elements of ' Necro-Spirit ' and 'misfortune,' is quite suitable for Sean..."
Sulu felt that if he were to return to the Main World now, he would definitely be the nemesis of the Black Death Society.
Their secrets were now completely exposed to him.
