"The Portley Family has always been devout followers of the Goddess..."

Lawrence asked Sulu kindly, "Your Excellency Sulu, may I ask what your beliefs are...?"

"Sorry... I refuse to answer."

Sulu stared coldly at James Potter, the guy who might be one of his ancestors, his fists clenched, displaying extreme rage.

But in reality, he remained calm.

'This is the Church, this is the [Paladin]!'

'To abandon everything, including all emotions, and serve God wholeheartedly—how glorious! How... how tragic...'

'[Paladin] need to maintain unwavering faith in the Goddess to combat the defilement of Demon. Over time, they will become indifferent—not forgetful, but simply devoid of emotion... It's a long process, but in the end, they will inevitably all become this kind of walking corpse!'

'These [Paladin] and [Guardian of God] are absolutely loyal to the Goddess of Light and are one of the Church's greatest assets... I didn't expect them to be sent out this time either.'

Is this a prelude to... provoking me?

He clearly sensed malice from Lawrence, so he immediately responded with a cold face.

"That's your prerogative." Lawrence's face stiffened for a moment, but he quickly recovered.

"Cough cough..."

Alsen took the opportunity to cough. "Gentlemen! First of all... thank you for coming. The Federation Federation remember your contributions and reward you accordingly."

"Now, I will announce the mission details!"

"We've received intelligence that a group of powerful individuals from the Chris Empire are infiltrating the Federation... no, more accurately, the Nia City. They're secretly plotting something... As we all know, due to the chaos and uprisings erupting in the other side's colonies, the Chris Empire's fleet has suffered repeated defeats on the high seas... These two events seem to be related."

Sulu and Siso listened carefully to the mission details. After a moment, Siso said, "Lord Alsen, do you think these high-level professionals infiltrated Nia City to retaliate against us?"

"Yes, we all know that there is a bomb hidden in Nia City, powerful enough to destroy half of the Federation!"

Schumacher added, "It cannot be ruled out that some forces within the Chris Empire have gone mad and made such a choice."

"But I feel even more strongly that an empire with the faith of the Seven True Gods Church wouldn't be so unwise..." Sulu shook his head and said, "Could it be a spontaneous act by the common people, in order to explore the ruins? We all know that there might be divine legacies there!"

"That possibility cannot be ruled out," Alsen said slowly, looking at Sulu.

"This is blasphemy, this is defilement!"

Lawrence reacted even more vehemently. "The Dream of the Ancient God is the will of the Goddess of the Moon, a malignant tumor that must be shut down... No one is allowed to open it!"

"On this point, we are of one mind."

Alsen solemnly stated, "Therefore... our mission is to go to the Nia City in the Spirit World and expel them! If possible... give them a lesson they'll never forget!"

"So it seems... the Federation has located the Nia City in the Spirit World? And there's a way to get there?"

Sulu pretended to be a newbie and asked curiously.

"Yes... After the tireless efforts of Federation intelligence personnel, and at a certain cost, we have finally located Nia City in the third layer of the Spirit World. It is extremely dangerous!"

Schumacher said, "The Spirit World is inherently a dangerous place, especially the third layer."

He had no idea that there was a being right in front of him who could roam freely throughout the Myriad Spirit World.

"Alright, we should get going."

Alsen took out a silver whistle and blew it loudly.

The piercing whistle immediately echoed around.

Sulu frowned: 'This seems... not an ordinary sound, but a sound wave from the Spirit World.'

He looked towards a certain point in the void as if sensing something, and saw a carriage crossing layers of the Spirit World, even breaking through the barrier between the Material World and the Spirit World, and arriving in front of them.

This was a silver-white carriage pulled by two Nightmare, ornately decorated with long tassels trailing behind and a Spirit Lantern at the front, as if it were about to carry elegantly dressed passengers to a banquet.

"This is... Spirit World Carriage?"

Sulu clearly sensed that it was much weaker than a real Spirit World Carriage, but he still asked a question.

"No... The real Spirit World Carriage is an inexplicable natural phenomenon, impossible to be used by human beings... This is just a poorly made replica."

Alsen calmly replied, "Even so, it still possesses the ability to transport passengers to the Dream Spirit World."

After all, the Spirit World Travel is not a skill available to every profession.

Even Arcane Caster might not be able to decipher it.

This Curio of the Spirit World Carriage can serve a considerable purpose; it embodies the Federation's foundation.

"Well then... everyone, we should set off now."

Alsen opened the car door and gestured for him to enter.

Lawrence led James inside, followed closely by Siso and Sulu.

The space inside the carriage was very cramped, Sulu could only squeeze together with James, feeling as if James' empty gaze had glanced at him.

Alsen and Schumacher sat in the driver's seat.

Through the glass car window, Sulu could see the Nightmare cheer and rush into the first layer of the Phantom Spirit World.

The light suddenly dimmed, Spirit Lantern at the front of the carriage automatically lit up, emitting a bright glow to guide the way.

Wave!

Under the light of the Spirit Lantern, the barrier to the second Spirit World was broken, and the surrounding scenery instantly transformed into a magnificent Mind Secret Realm.

This spectacular sight even seemed to gleam in Siso's eyes.

Finally, the carriage arrived at the bizarre and fantastical Dream Spirit World, traversing through numerous eerie scenes.

'It seems... this carriage relies solely on that headlight for guidance. If it's destroyed... perhaps at least three or four of us six legends will be lost in the Dream Spirit World...'

Sulu gazed at the Spirit Lantern ahead, a strange smile playing on his lips as he suppressed a destructive impulse and desire.

Ta-da!

Ta-da!

In the Dream Spirit World, time and space are distorted.

After an unknown amount of time, the carriage came to a stop on a plain, where the city, seemingly built on a roly-poly toy base, appeared before each fifth-tier professional.

"We've arrived in Nia City."

Alsen and Schumacher led the way out of the car, and after the last person left, the Nightmare let out a howl and ran away.

'Is this an attempt to control our escape route? Too bad...'

Sulu pursed his lips and exchanged a glance with Siso.

"Goddess... please forgive the people of this city, accept their souls..."

On the other side, Lawrence, holding the pendant, began to pray.

I'm currently out of town, so I'll be maintaining a 3-hour update schedule for now.
