Experiment
Inside the bedroom.
Sulu lay on the sheets, feigning sleep, his mind focused on his Attribute Panel:

"Nothing else has changed, but my Basic Physics has moved up a grade without me even noticing. Is that due to my recent dedicated study?"
Passive skills and abilities can actually be improved through active learning; experience points merely accelerate this process.
During this period, Sulu studied a great deal of physics data in order to 'invent' the Telegraph, so this improvement is to be expected.
"I wonder how many points and how much of a promotion I'll get this time... I hope I can directly enter the core of Green Tree Castle! If that happens... my other plans can begin."
Sulu thought of Nia City.
As the first hometown of the time traveler and the place where he spent four years of university, he still has a deep affection for that place.
If possible, we certainly don't want it to suffer any major changes.
Therefore, upon realizing that a huge dark force might be lurking there, they immediately thought of reporting it.
But considering the strength of both sides, this is tantamount to suicide. If they are discovered and tracked, the mystical side of this world might possess some prophetic magic, and their deaths would be utterly gruesome.
That's why it's been delayed until now, because I want to find a powerful force to rely on before making any decisions.
Furthermore, this also provides protection for Beatrice.
Sulu never forgot the Corpse Princess girl who seemed to have been blessed by the moon.
' Beatrice... she's probably not as good as me, right? After all, she doesn't have Attribute Panel to help her cheat... but with the cheat of being blessed by the moon, she seems about the same...'
The thought of Beatrice Taylor gave Sulu a toothache.
"Um?"
Suddenly, his expression shifted as he sensed some strange aura surrounding him.
"Transcendental power? Or more of the Spirit World type!"
As a [Occultist], Sulu was quite certain and couldn't help but sneer, "I don't even dare to use my supernatural abilities without permission, yet someone is treating me like this?"
His Inspiration struck, and he immediately saw a wisp of mysterious black energy.
They seeped out from the Spirit World like strands of hair, seemingly trying to wrap around me.
"Misfortune? Illness?"
Sulu flicked his fingers, wrapping the black hair around his hand and examining it closely. "A weak curse! Its effect is roughly the same as stabbing a voodoo doll... far inferior to Demon or even Demon professional!"
This level of curse, even if he were already a second-tier elite, or even a first-tier superhuman, could withstand it!
"The enemy is weak... It seems they're starting to get jealous because I've been in the limelight too much lately?"
Sulu was not surprised at all that there were extraordinary individuals within the Institute of Electrical Research.
Some senior researchers, having made significant contributions, could very well gain access to the extraordinary world.
Furthermore, the points they accumulate might be enough to redeem one or two professions—this is the beginning of extraordinary achievements!
"It seems... they're just taking advantage of me being a newbie! But... you'll never know the impact of the Telegraph!"
Sulu thought to himself with a cold smile.
Even if he were just an ordinary person, the experimental results he achieved would be enough to garner the attention of higher-ups. If anything went wrong and the research institute investigated, would the conspirator escape unscathed?
However, Sulu was not prepared to do so.
On the contrary, he saw this as an opportunity to proactively expose his 'special' nature!
To enter the core, there will definitely be checks. Facing more high-level professionals, one cannot hide one's extraordinary power, and Sulu has no intention of concealing it either.
He has already demonstrated his value through the Telegraph; compared to that, nothing else matters.
"Soul Projection!"
Sulu's spirit leaped out of his body and entered the Spirit World.
Strands of black hair became the most obvious landmarks, leading him to another dormitory building.
Inside a dark room.
Pentagram was drawn on the ground, with candles lit at its edges, forming a ritual.
At the very center of the Pentagram is a crude doll covered with the name of Sulu written in Ancient Hebraic.
Victor's eyes were grim as he chanted an incantation, holding a dagger engraved with runes, and he plunged it viciously into the doll's chest.
"In my name, I curse you!"
"Sulu Potter! You will be shrouded in misfortune, you will be plagued by disease!"
"What happened?"
A moment later, Victor stopped the ritual with a grim expression. "Why hasn't the curse succeeded yet? I'm not getting any 'feedback'..."
"That's because you're too weak!"
A voice suddenly rang out from the darkness.
Sulu's spirit leaped directly from the Spirit World, and the candles in the corner of the Pentagram magic circle on the ground instantly went out.
"You are... Sulu Potter?"
Victor was clearly a spellcaster; he could see Sulu: "You're a superhuman? Impossible... How can you be so strong? I know... You must be hiding your identity. I'm going to report you to the research institute!"
He was first startled, then his joy turned to ecstasy, bordering on mania.
"A first-level [Apprentice]?"
Sulu looked at Victor and confirmed his identity.
He was always very careful not to let his hair or blood leak out, so Victor could only use his own magic to curse his own name.
Furthermore, because it's not a curse-specialized profession, its power is reduced by several times.
If it weren't for the close proximity, the opponent's first-tier magic power might not even have been effective against ordinary people!
'Of course... Victor isn't stupid. He didn't pray to other beings, as that would most likely affect himself, and he didn't curse me to death, but rather to disease...'
Looking at the setup, Sulu quickly understood everything. "Report? That's exactly what I was thinking. You actually cursed your colleague! How audacious!"
Boom!
With a thought, his Spirit Pressure dissipated.
Victor's expression changed, and before he could even argue, he felt a terrifying force strike him, causing him to kneel on the ground, almost collapsing into a limp mess.
Seeing this, Sulu remained expressionless and continued to harm the opponent's spirit.
[XP+30]
A notification popped up in the Experience Bar.
"As expected... he gained experience because I hurt his spirit? Was the previous defeat the same way, leaving psychological trauma, which is also a kind of damage to the spirit?"
Sulu continued his experiments, gaining a clearer understanding of the rules governing experience points. "Experience is linked to spirit. After a class advancement, lower-ranking 'experience monsters' lose their effectiveness or experience is greatly reduced. Is this because my soul essence has improved?"
