Arc 24The Fall of the Old Order
Araki consolidated power in Wano as Luffy and his allies challenged him, while the struggle over Luffy’s death drew Shanks, Garp, Dragon, and the Marines into a wider conflict. Uranus devastated their forces, and Shanks led a coalition against Mary Geoise, where Imu unleashed the weapon’s full power.
- Dragon asked Araki to support the Revolutionary Army, but Araki refused and urged Dragon to build a stronger ideology and recruit powerful allies.
- Akainu became Fleet Admiral and abolished the Seven Warlords system to keep Issho in the Navy, while Momonosuke’s group fled Wano and Mihawk came to challenge Araki.
- Araki defeated Mihawk, accepted Shanks’s presence in Wano, and killed Kin'emon after Kin'emon demanded that the Kozuki family reclaim the shogunate.
- Momonosuke and his allies enlisted Luffy’s help, but Araki killed Luffy and Momonosuke after Luffy’s crew fought Wano’s swordsmen.
- Shanks took the Straw Hats away from Wano, then sought Big Mom’s help to revive Luffy, while Garp quit the Navy after Akainu tried to stop him from going to Wano.
- Garp, Zephyr, Aokiji, and Dragon formed the NEO Navy, destroyed Big Mom’s forces, and began recruiting Marines as Akainu defied the Five Elders and pressed into the New World.
- Imu ordered the Five Elders to erase the D Clan, and Uranus attacked Garp’s fleet and Totto Land, killing Dragon and striking the Thousand Sunny.
- Shanks gathered allies including Rayleigh, Akainu, Aokiji, Kizaru, and Sabo to attack Mary Geoise, where Imu unlocked Uranus’s full authority and revealed twenty satellites.
