Imu used Uranus to overwhelm the gathered fighters until Araki arrived and defeated her with his Bankai. After capturing Imu, Araki learned that the Celestial Dragons came from another planet and fled an invasion by unknown attackers.
After defeating Imu and resolving the threat of Uranus, Araki led the reorganization of the World Government and strengthened the Navy's role. He then met G.S.D in the Book of Sword Masters and began awakening a power to sense the waves in all things.
Araki and Imu were swept into the world of Valoran after a mysterious dragon-like force swallowed their spacecraft, Uranus, and they crash-landed in Zaun. As they sought energy to restart the ship, they arrived at The Last Drop just as a young Enforcer provoked Vander and searched the tavern, leaving a confrontation on the verge of erupting.
Araki urged Vander to stop relying on compromise and help Zaun build strength, while investigating whether Powder could stabilize Hextech crystals. Vander accepted the advice and went with Araki, Vi, Powder, and Ekko to meet Silco about Zaun’s future.
Vander offered Silco the Hextech Crystal and brought Powder and Ekko to study with Singed, hoping Zaun could gain leverage over Piltover. Silco demonstrated Shimmer’s power and revealed his plan to remove Sheriff Grayson and replace her with a more controllable enforcer, while Vander was left behind.
Araki left Piltover and Zaun for Ionia, where Noxus had invaded, and began traveling through the war-torn continent to practice wave perception. Back in Zaun and Piltover, Silco tightened his hold over Vander while Jayce and Viktor gained permission to continue their Hextech research, and Singed also made progress.
After two years of exploring Runeterra’s magical forces, Araki returned to Zaun as Silco prepared to challenge Piltover’s growing dominance. On Progress Day, Zaun announced its independence with a spectacular message above the city.
Silco and Vander forced Piltover to grant Zaun autonomy with a display of Hextech weapons, but Piltover stalled on the other promised reforms while secretly developing its own weapons. After Araki warned that Zaun would lose its advantage, Silco launched a real assault on Piltover.
Araki returned to the Shinobi World after years away and set Kirigakure’s plan to unify the nations in motion. He then led the Shinigami Clan into the Pure Land to reclaim their territory from Otsutsuki Hagoromo, and their confrontation began with Araki’s attack.
Araki defeated Otsutsuki Hagoromo by using wave control to break the Sage of Six Paths’ chakra techniques, then moved to bring Mount Myōboku and other factions under the unified Shinobi World. His forces also began targeting the remaining Ancient Gods, while Nagato arrived at Konoha to a warm welcome.
Kirigakure and its allies demanded that the nations submit to unification or face war, while their forces overwhelmed the Evil Spirit and invaded the other lands. The Cloud and Stone Villages surrendered, but Rasa chose to fight Sasori of the Red Sands, who revealed a mechanized army in the desert.
Sasori and Nagato defeated the remaining resistance in Sunagakure and Konoha, bringing the great nations close to submitting to the Mist Village. Araki freed Otsutsuki Kaguya from her lunar seal and demanded she lead him to the Otsutsuki Homeworld, but she agreed only if he first defeated Isshiki.
Araki forced Kaguya to lead him to Isshiki, then fought Isshiki to demonstrate his strength and persuade Kaguya to take him to the Otsutsuki Homeworld. Isshiki transformed to his full power, but his attempt to shrink Araki’s sword failed, and Araki wounded him.
Araki destroyed Ōtsutsuki Isshiki after pursuing him through several dimensions, while Kaguya rescued the Ten-Tails. Before leaving for the Otsutsuki Homeworld, Araki met the leaders of the nations to reorganize the Shinobi World into one united people.
Araki learned about the Otsutsuki clan’s strongest members and decided to seek help in Runeterra against Urashiki’s time-travel abilities. He returned to Zaun, where Powder and Ekko had become genius inventors, to obtain Ekko’s Z-Drive.
Araki enlisted Ekko and Heimerdinger to build a device that disrupted time travel, then traveled with Imu and Kaguya toward the Otsutsuki Homeworld. Kaguya sent a signal to lure the Otsutsuki out, and Momoshiki ordered Kinshiki to retrieve her.
Araki killed Kinshiki and confronted Momoshiki Otsutsuki, who arrived after sensing his partner’s death. Their battle began with clashing techniques, and Araki activated a time-distortion device when Momoshiki slowed his body.
Araki defeated Momoshiki Otsutsuki and descended with Kaguya and Imu to the sparsely populated Otsutsuki Homeworld. After learning that the Temple of God stored the clan’s chakra signatures, Araki began preparing to destroy the planet and erase those records, ending the chapter ready to unleash his Star-Shattering Wave Slash.
After destroying the Otsutsuki Homeworld, Araki oversaw a unified Shinobi World’s reforms before leaving to seek new challenges in Runeterra. With Imu and Kaguya aboard, he reached Mount Targon and began climbing to investigate its Star Spirits.
Toneri rescued Hinata from bullies and transferred to the Medical Corps so he could stay beside her and study a way to cure his blindness. After punishing classmates who refused to apologize, he left with Hinata to see the snow, while Itachi’s remarks about Hinata provoked Izumi.
