In Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, inside a stretched luxury limousine.
Holding a stemmed glass and sipping the orange juice inside, Little Apple touched this and looked at that, brimming with curiosity.
"Sister Nana, why are we taking such a beautiful, luxurious car for a mission?" Little Apple asked. They were chatting in the passenger compartment, which was separated from the driver's cabin, so the driver would not overhear them.
In her mind, missions usually called for practical vehicles, didn't they? An off-road vehicle, an armored car, or some modified vehicle loaded with equipment. When she had previously gone on missions with Sister Nana and Sister Bing, they had ridden in those kinds of vehicles. This stretched luxury car, on the other hand, felt more like something they would take to a banquet or a dance.
Tang Baona was pouring soda into her own stemmed glass. Smiling, she said, "Alice arranged it. She asked if I had any requirements for transportation, and I said no, as long as it was as comfortable as possible. So she arranged this car."
"Looks like this mission shouldn't be too difficult," Little Apple said as she looked out the window.
"Probably. Otherwise, they wouldn't have brought Yang the Third along," Tang Baona joked.
But after she said that, Yang the Third did not fire back as expected. Tang Baona turned to look at Yang Zhen'er, who sat opposite her in a denim jacket with a cotton hood and a pair of sunglasses.
Yang Zhen'er had her hood up and sunglasses on, hiding most of her face. Only her tightly pressed lips were visible. Though she was seated comfortably, she leaned forward, holding a tablet in both hands as she carefully studied the detailed action plan displayed on it.
"Yang the Third? Yang the Third?"
