Background / History

• Moryo is an ancient, forbidden entity that existed even before the Sage of Six Paths 134 326.
• Long ago, Moryo encountered the first shrine maiden of the Land of Demons, fell in love with her, and took on human form to stay by her side 326. When villains attacked out of greed, Moryo slaughtered them to protect her, but this led to his eventual sealing by her, with his physical body and soul separated 134 326. He established a recurring cycle where his evil aura breaks out every four years to deter threats 326.
• During a historical confrontation, Moryo clashed with Ōtsutsuki Isshiki and Ōtsutsuki Kaguya over a falling star (God Tree seed), leaving Isshiki severely wounded 326. He also battled the Sage of Six Paths (Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo), who was forced to use the Box of Ultimate Bliss to release four monsters and stall him, resulting in a mutual severe wounding before Moryo was sealed 326.
• In the present day, Moryo's evil will operates as a malevolent clone/fragment outside while his indestructible, massive true form remains sealed deep beneath stone pillars in the Land of Demons 135.
• Moryo eventually comes into contact with Uchiha Roy, recognizing his transmigrator origins and the otherworldly aura upon him 135 325. He shares his past and intelligence regarding the Ōtsutsuki clan, warning Roy of their intentions toward the Ninja World 325 326.
• After initially placing an incarnation/clone inside Roy's body to tap into resources and having his true form secretly tied to the shrine maiden Miroku (who is the reincarnation/successor connected to him), Moryo formally decides to stay with Miroku permanently and pledges his aid to Roy against the Ōtsutsuki clan 324 325 430 433.
