Merlin's attitude towards Artoria in the original work—he did tell Artoria that Britannia was destined for destruction, that's true.
But his subsequent actions were as follows.
Artoria: "But I still want to try my best."
Merlin: "Then let's try. If it's you, you might actually succeed."
Then he continued to watch Artoria perform, thinking to himself, "I'll try to persuade her again in a while. It's not too late to do useless things, is it?"
As he kept delaying, it was already the Sword of Betrayal, Artoria went mad, forever trapped in a crack in time, waiting for the Holy Grail War to call her with pain and regret. Merlin thought, "What the hell? I messed up?!" Then he isolated himself in a twenty-story tower, and casually threw Fou down.
Also, Artoria wasn't being headstrong = =, the prerequisite for her saying that to Arthur was "she had already found the Holy Grail." The Holy Grail had been found, just waiting for a noble person to claim it.
And if the Holy Grail plan failed, she had also chosen a backup plan, which was to execute Arthur's plan. Because of Arthur's existence, she could die without worry.
Chapter 71: Morgan's Doubt (Seeking Recommendation Tickets!)
And so, Artoria was gently accompanied by Guinevere.
As for Arthur, after experiencing so much, he also wanted to find a girl to comfort himself first. To recover his spirits before getting involved in any schemes. So he walked towards Mordred's room.
"I'll go pour my heart out to Little Mo. And discuss things in detail."
That was Arthur's plan, but halfway there, he happened to run into Morgan le Fay, who also looked disheartened.
She had just left Mordred's room. The reason she was angry was because she had been betrayed by her children yet again.
While Arthur was away, she had secretly approached Mordred, wanting to get some information about Arthur from her foolish daughter, and also to try hard to win Mordred over to continue working for her.
But unfortunately, she failed.
Regarding the acquisition of information, it was subtle to discuss whether it was a success or a failure.
Mordred happily chattered on and on about Arthur.
Although most of it was "My Elder Brother is super amazing" and "My Elder Brother is very kind," a desperate boast filtered through n layers of Mordred's idealized lens, Morgan le Fay could still analyze some useful intelligence from these words.
However, when it came to persuading Mordred to continue helping her, Morgan le Fay completely failed.
Mordred clearly refused her. And with her head held high, looking very proud, she said to Morgan, "No, Mother, because I am now Elder Brother's knight. I only obey Elder Brother's commands."
"Damn it."
Hearing her say that, Morgan was furious, gritting her teeth and thinking, what kind of mind-altering drug did Arthur give her daughter? While also contemplating how to persuade Mordred next.
Should she threaten her, or tell her that as a daughter, she must obey her mother?
As a result, before Morgan could figure out how to educate her disobedient, rebellious daughter, Mordred actually started persuading Morgan le Fay instead:
"Mother," she said seriously to Morgan, "Why don't you also serve Elder Brother Artorius?
Elder Brother is an excellent monarch who rewards the good and punishes the bad. If you serve him diligently, he will surely grant your wishes."
Hearing her say that, Morgan almost choked to death from anger.
This unfilial daughter! She had never worked so hard when working for me! But now she's working for her brother, and she's practically working 007, acting like a shareholder with spirit. Who is she trying to disgust?!
Of course, hearing her say those words, Morgan had a fleeting moment—just a fleeting moment—of temptation.
Serving Arthur would grant her wishes?
What were her wishes? To obtain Britannia?
Ah, right, yes, she did want to obtain Britannia. It wasn't that she wanted to get the love she craved from her nephew.
Thinking this in her heart, Morgan did not choose to fall out with Mordred. Instead, she perfunctorily appeased her with a few words and then returned with a stomach full of anger.
"Bastard, how did he do it?" While Morgan was unhappy, she was also somewhat confused.
Her sons and daughters, one by one, had rebellious personalities. One by one, they betrayed their creator, Morgan le Fay.
But why were they so loyal to Arthur and his son?
The brothers Gawain and Gaheris. Both are currently serving in the Germanic War Zone and have been promoted to "Legion Commander." They are important military pillars for Artorius. Both are loyal to Arthur.
Gareth is a bit of an exception. Due to her age and gender, Gareth does not currently hold a high military position. However, she holds the position of "Guard Captain."
Gareth is in charge of the "Governor's Guard," Arthur's most elite heavy cavalry.
Agravain is responsible for much of the administrative work in the Germanic War Zone, and also serves as the head of Arthur's secret agents and assassins, responsible for covert operations. This former King's fanboy is now one of Arthur's most fervent supporters.
On many occasions, in private conversations, he has said things like, "His Highness Arthur is the best choice," "He is the most suitable person to be a ruler," "He is the monarch I have been looking for and wish to serve!"
And then there's Mordred. This guy is Arthur's second-in-command, and at times considered Arthur's partner and successor. Her attitude towards Arthur goes without saying.
—These "children of Morgan le Fay" are all exceptionally talented individuals. They were carefully selected, created, and trained by Morgan le Fay using "Gene Technology from the Age of Gods" as outstanding tools.
Originally, it was fine for them to be with King Arthur in Camelot.
But now, there is an entire "Germanic War Zone," slightly larger than the territory of Britannia.
A larger stage allows them to fully utilize their potential, achieving even better and more perfect results than in the original timeline.
After all, in the original Arthurian Legend, Gawain could barely command tens of thousands of men in a legion, let alone Gareth's four hundred guards. In a complete feudal system, the vassal of a vassal is not one's own vassal. Setting aside how many people could be mobilized, the chain of command was definitely not smooth. The direct subordinates of each commander would never be too numerous.
"How did he manage it?"
Morgan le Fay found it strange and confusing.
Did the Pendragon family possess some peculiar charm that inspired fierce loyalty?
That couldn't be right.
She was a Pendragon too, yet she had been betrayed by everyone.
With these thoughts, Morgan bumped into her beloved nephew, Artorius Pendragon, in the hallway.
He noticed her as well. His dear aunt, Morgan le Fay.

Chapter 72: Morgan Feels She Has a Huge Advantage (Seeking Recommendation Votes)
"Yo~ My dear nephew, you look like you're in a good mood. Did something happen?"
This was the first "private meeting" between Arthur and Morgan le Fay since that incident.
The latter seemed to have forgotten how her dear nephew had humiliated her before.
Morgan's smile was sweet, even intoxicating. If one were to speak solely of maternal affection, it seemed no less than Guinevere's before. If someone met her for the first time, they certainly wouldn't associate this sweet-smiling, gentle-looking older sister with the enchantress who had brought ruin to Britannia.
Arthur, of course, did not.
From beginning to end, Arthur's vigilance towards this woman was at its highest.
"Can Morgan make use of the Holy Grail matter?"
After a moment of thought, Arthur decided against it: "Let's use that Merlin fellow instead."
"..."
Thus, he reluctantly nodded to Morgan, as a basic courtesy in response to her question. Then he turned, preparing to pass Morgan and leave.
But before that:
"Did you have a fight?"
"Did you argue with my foolish sister?"
"Heh heh heh, I guessed as much. After all, the gap between you is too obvious; you could never get along properly."
As Arthur walked away with his back to her, Morgan's pleasant, mocking voice came from behind him.
The next second, Morgan le Fay, as she had wished, was pinned against the wall by Arthur.
"I'm warning you, woman."
Arthur looked at her with dangerous eyes, making Morgan's heart race.
"Don't try to sow discord between me and Father King," he said, lifting Morgan's chin with his finger, forcing her gaze to meet his. This simple skin contact made Morgan's body heat up and her breathing quicken.
"Otherwise, I will definitely make you regret it."
With that, Arthur released Morgan and turned, continuing towards Mordred.
When he was in such a bad mood, he really needed Little Mo's gentle comfort.
Compared to his stubborn and inflexible Father King, or Morgan le Fay, who seemed to exude a dark aura, or that violent battle-obsessed teacher, or any other insignificant character, Little Mo was truly the best.
His sister was obedient and did whatever he asked, never complaining or causing any extraneous trouble. It was truly wonderful.
"I've decided. From today on, I'm only supporting Little Mo."
Arthur thought this to himself and prepared to quicken his pace.
Afterward, Morgan's voice came from behind him.
She didn't seem to take Arthur's "warning" seriously at all.
"That woman is difficult to deal with, isn't she? Completely inflexible, as hard as a rock."
Arthur turned around again. This time, instead of directly pinning Morgan le Fay like before, he narrowed his eyes and looked at her without speaking.
Morgan le Fay seemed to take this stance as encouragement, and her actions became bolder and more direct.
She moved closer to Artorius, reached out a finger, and gently traced his chest. Tipping her head back, she looked at him with a pleased expression.
"You and she are destined to be on different paths."
She continued to Artorius:
"She's someone who doesn't understand people's hearts.
You're different. You understand reality, you know how to adapt. You'll do anything to achieve your goals.
So, you see..."
Her finger slid further down, tracing Arthur's firm abdomen, while her body leaned forward, pressing against him:
"We are the same, Artorius. We are a perfect match."
Morgan le Fay found her mouth dry.
She parted her lips slightly, her crimson tongue darting out to wet them, and cast a silent invitation toward Artorius.
After a few seconds of silence, Arthur broke into a smile.
He had to be serious and cautious with Artoria, his father king, and couldn't act carelessly... but he could be a bit more casual and generous with Morgan le Fay.
With that thought, he reached out and wrapped his arm around Morgan's slender waist, pulling her into his embrace with a touch of force.
"..."
"..."
"Mmm, mmm~"
"I'll be waiting for you tonight."
Slightly satisfied, Morgan le Fay said happily to Arthur, then swayed her hips and departed with a cheerful air.
That small gain made her feel closer to Arthur, even giving her a subtle illusion. She felt she might be able to win.
To emerge victorious in a competition against Artoria—
Even though she had invested more than Artoria in this competition, even suspecting she had used underhanded tactics. But a win was a win, wasn't it?
"What a bastard."
Frustrated by the good woman, he found some solace with the bad woman. Arthur then moved on, entering Little Mo's room.
"Brother~"
Little Mo greeted Arthur with a happy smile. It was as if she hadn't noticed what Artorius, her beloved elder brother, and a certain evil, insidious, sharp-tongued bad woman who didn't deserve respect, had been doing near her room just moments before.
