The freshman named Hermione soon left with her father.

As soon as she left, Fred gave her a strange look.

"She's memorized all the textbooks..."

"Yes, Fred, you heard me right," George said, barely suppressing a laugh. "We did indeed meet another Percy."

Percy had also memorized all the textbooks before starting school, for which Mrs. Weasley rewarded him with a brand new robe.

"Which college do you think she'll be assigned to?" George asked.

Fred raised an eyebrow. "Is there even a question? It's definitely Ravenclaw."

I think so too.

"No, I think it's Gryffindor." At this moment, Kyle hadn't participated until now, suddenly spoke up, "Don't forget, Percy is in Gryffindor."

"That's different, Kyle," Fred shook his head. "We're all Gryffindor."

George added, "In fact, we think Percy would have preferred Ravenclaw, but the Sorting Hat sorted him into Gryffindor."

Kyle stroked his chin and said, "How about we make a bet?"

Upon hearing about the bet, Fred and George immediately became interested.

"What are we betting on?"

"How about one Galleon?"

Kyle took out a gold coin and dangled it between his fingers. "If she gets assigned to Ravenclaw, I'll give each of you Galleon."

"..."

Fred and George exchanged a quick glance, communicating something with their eyes.

The two quickly reached an agreement.

Fred looked at Kyle and said with ill intent, "That's too boring. How about we do something more exciting?"

"How should I put it..."

"We'll bet on this!" George pulled a toffee from his pocket. "If that little girl gets assigned to Ravenclaw, you'll have to eat this Ton-Tongue Toffee at the opening party."

"Are you sure?" Kyle's eyes turned strange. "What if she gets sorted into Gryffindor?"

"Then let's eat," they both said at the same time.

Kyle's gaze became even stranger. He suppressed a laugh and took the toffee from George's hand.

"Tsk, fine, I agree."

Fred and George extended their hands and said, "It's a deal!"

"It's a deal." Kyle extended his hand and shook hands with them.

He originally just wanted to earn some pocket money, but since Fred and George were so enthusiastic, he didn't mind watching the fun.

The three people who had let go of each other looked at each other, smiled, and none of them mentioned the matter again.

Kyle looked at the platform entrance next to him and asked, somewhat puzzled, "It's been so long, why haven't Ron and Mrs. Weasley come in yet?"

"I don't know, maybe they encountered another lost freshman," Fred said.

"This kind of thing is very common at King's Cross Station."

George looked at the train. "Never mind that, let's get on the train quickly. Lee Jordan wrote in a letter saying he got a huge possum spider as a pet. Did anyone notice him coming?"

Speaking of pets...

Kyle glanced subconsciously at the unremarkable box in his hand.

Newt's reply arrived that afternoon, in which he agreed to Kyle's request to adopt the Niffler.

Now, the Niffler is in the box, and Kyle has even given it a nice name.

Jerry.

After the three boarded the train, Fred and George quickly went to find Lee Jordan, while Kyle carried his luggage and headed towards the back of the train.

But before he could take two steps, the door to a private room not far away suddenly opened, and a small head popped out.

Kanna waved and said, "Kyle, over here!"

Kyle quickly went over.

Kanna was alone inside, and upon seeing Kyle, she hurriedly closed the door to the private room.

Kyle gave her a wary look and instinctively took two steps back. "What do you want?"

There's something I want to tell you.

Kanna didn't notice Kyle's subtle actions. After closing the door, she excitedly exclaimed, "You know what? Professor Snape is actually my relative!"

"Yes, I know."

"I couldn't believe it either, but... um?" Kanna's expression froze, and she said incredulously, "You, you know?!"

"Yes," Kyle chuckled. "I also know that Professor Snape's mother's last name was Prince."

Kanna was completely stunned.

Wait a minute, this plot isn't what she expected at all.

Shouldn't Kyle be surprised and shocked? But...

Kanna opened her mouth, then stammered, "How... how did you know?"

"My dad told me," Kyle said, placing the box on the shelf. "He was a classmate of Professor Snape and happened to know some of the details."

Chris did tell him this; it was during his visit to school before the holidays.

Kyle had only asked tentatively, but Chris actually knew the answer.

Kanna frowned and said, "Then why didn't you tell me before?"

"Would you believe me if I told you?" Kyle retorted.

Kanna hesitated for a moment, then shook her head in frustration. Before what happened during the summer vacation, she really wouldn't have believed such an outrageous thing.

"Oh, right..." At this moment, Kanna seemed to suddenly remember something and asked with some suspicion, "Is Professor Snape coming to see me also related to you?"

Kyle did not deny it.

"You're paid to do something, right? So, how's that problem? Have you solved all those troublesome issues?"

The letter Kyle wrote on the first day of his vacation was addressed to Snape. It was quite simple, just a brief description of Kanna's recent situation.

Although he exaggerated a tiny bit in some parts, the general content was still roughly the same.

"Yes, it's resolved." Kanna gave Kyle a deep look.

"On the second day of summer vacation, Professor Snape came to my house. He identified himself and took me to Gringotts."

Kyle, who was taking out snacks, paused for a moment and asked, "Why did he take you to Gringotts?"

Kanna said, "He had the Goblin take back my family's old vault and move everything inside to his vault."

"Wait... you mean Snape moved all your stuff into his vault?"

Kyle became increasingly suspicious as he listened; what kind of crazy move was Snape making?

Are you afraid others will steal it, so you grab it all first?

Is this person any different from everyone else?!

Seemingly understanding Kyle's meaning, Kanna quickly explained, "He didn't intend to keep it for himself; he was just keeping it safe for me."

"I've heard that kind of talk too many times..." Kyle said quietly, "Only a fool would believe that."

"It's true," Kanna said seriously. "In fact, there's not much money left in my family's vault. The only thing that still has some value is probably the land deed."

But Professor Snape has piles of Galleon; he has no reason to lie to me."

"I hope so..." Kyle sighed. "Besides that, what else has he done?"

"He bought the house next to mine and stayed there for the entire summer."

At this point, Kanna couldn't help but smile. "In the past two months, he's chased away everyone who's come to my house."

"Snape bought a house next door to yours?" Kyle's lips twitched.

Okay, he admits that his previous thoughts were a bit dirty.
