Hermione's Frustration
This year's Quidditch Match has already caused a sensation twice before it even started.
First, Kyle's record of scoring 21 goals in 10 minutes sparked a Quidditch craze.
Before this matter had even calmed down, even more sensational news broke... Harry Potter, the universally acknowledged the Chosen One of the Wizarding World who defeated the Dark Lord, had become the youngest Seeker in a century.
The name Harry Potter is already incredibly popular, and coupled with his somewhat legendary experiences, this year's Quidditch Match is destined to be even more exciting than before.
Half an hour before the match started, the surrounding stands were already packed with people, and even the biting cold wind did not dampen their enthusiasm.
"This thing is really useful..."
In the Slytherin stands, Malfoy looked at the little blue snake wrapped around his arm and felt a warm, indescribable comfort spread through his body.
Moreover, whenever he stretched out his arm, the snake would open its mouth and hiss at the Gryffindor stands opposite.
The only drawback is that the sound is too soft; it can't be heard if the cheers get a little louder.
Unlike the other side, whose deafening roar could be heard clearly even inside the castle.
"Why isn't there a premium version this time?" Malfoy muttered to himself.
Goyle, standing nearby, immediately said, "Kyle said there wasn't enough time, there wasn't enough time to do it."
A small snake like this was also wrapped around his arm.
"I heard you, you don't need to remind me." Malfoy glared at him, then said loudly, "And he promised me he'd bring what I want at the next Slytherin match."
It will be bigger, more flexible, and its colors will be the silver and green that symbolize Slytherin."
Many of the young wizards nearby immediately became interested upon hearing this.
They're all well-off, so naturally they wouldn't mind getting themselves a better set of support equipment.
"Draco, this kind of thing must be much more complicated than a map..."
Someone asked skeptically, "That Kyle is only a second-year student, can he really do that?"
"Definitely," Malfoy raised an eyebrow. "In fact, he's already agreed."
Meanwhile, in the Hufflepuff stands not far away, Cedric asked the same question.
"Kyle, can you really do what Malfoy is asking?"
"It's a bit troublesome..." Kyle frowned, "But it's not unsolvable, it just takes a little time."
The things they sold before were just Transfiguration glass bottles, with some sound effects added at most; they weren't too difficult to make.
But Malfoy's series of demands were beyond what Transfiguration Spell could resolve.
Those are genuine magical items.
However, these troubles are minor issues compared to a hundred Galleon.
Cedric understood Kyle's meaning and clicked his tongue in a slightly wistful manner.
It's no wonder the Malfoy family is so wealthy; they actually spent 100 Galleon on a toy, which is more than his father's monthly salary.
After a while, the professors appeared.
Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape... even Professor Sprout, who usually lives in a greenhouse, came.
Apart from Headmaster Dumbledore, it seemed that the entire school's faculty and students had gathered in the stands around the Quidditch Pitch, with many students even bringing binoculars.
Some of the seats further back have been raised into the air, but it's still sometimes difficult to see the situation on the field.
Soon, both teams entered the Quidditch Pitch through the tunnel.
Upon seeing Harry Potter in his team uniform, the Gryffindor stands erupted in excited cheers, followed by countless deafening roars.
"That Sickle amazing..."
Ron glanced enviously at the blue lion heads in Neville and Seamus's hands, and said sourly to Hermione, "You really should buy one too."
"No need, Ron."
Hermione shook her head and said, "That was just a simple Bluebell Flames and Transfiguration Spell, not worth fifteen Sickle at all."
"And didn't I already make one for you?"
"That's different."
Ron glanced down at the transparent jar in his hand. It was warm, but it couldn't roar like a lion.
Kyle said at the time that it was a support prop, used to liven up the atmosphere. The warmth was just to make everyone watch the game better; it was an extra little feature, and the cost wasn't even calculated.
Seeing Ron's disgusted expression, Hermione raised her eyebrows angrily and immediately took the jar from his hand.
"Give it back if you don't want it!"
A gust of wind blew by, making Ron, who hadn't yet realized what was happening, shiver involuntarily.
"Ouch, it's so cold!"
"Hermione..."
"Hmph!" Hermione snorted coldly, turning her head away and ignoring him.
Hermione knew in her heart that the heater she made was very different from the ones everyone else was holding.
On the way here, she had secretly tried several times. Although she could Transfiguration the jar, it was far less refined than Kyle's. In addition, she couldn't produce a lion's roar.
This huge disparity was already frustrating for Hermione, but Ron's disdainful expression only made things worse; it was like walking right into the line of fire.
Left with no other option, Ron could only try to get as close to Neville and Seamus as possible to feel less cold.
At the same time, the game began with the sound of a whistle.
"Look, the Quaffle was immediately snatched by Angelina Johnson of Gryffindor..."
Lee Jordan's voice came from the commentary booth; he had successfully passed the selection and become the new Quidditch commentator.
However... after only one serious sentence, Lee Jordan went a bit off-topic.
"That girl is such an excellent Chaser, and she's also incredibly beautiful..."
"Jordan!" Professor McGonagall reminded him, clearly annoyed.
"I'm sorry, Professor."
A burst of laughter immediately erupted from the surrounding area.
Kanna glanced at the commentary booth and whispered, "This year's commentary feels a bit... well, special, doesn't it?"
"I understand." Kyle shrugged and chuckled. "Lee Jordan is Fred and George's friend, you'd better not expect him to be anything special."
Cedric, who was standing next to him, nodded in deep agreement, but he was soon stunned.
Wait a minute, I think I'm also Fred and George's friend...
In the stands, Lee Jordan continued his commentary.
To be fair, after all, he went through layers of selection, and Lee Jordan's professional skills are quite solid. Although he might occasionally say something witty, his serious commentary is never neglected.
The audience quickly adapted to his novel commentary style, which was less serious than before, but quite interesting once they got used to it.
