Professor Quirrell's Defense Against the Dark Arts remained as poor as ever, especially after he injured his arm, leaving the young wizard to take care of his "assistant teacher."

A Gryffindor student near the podium was fortunate enough to receive this task.

Kyle noticed that when he took the large lizard, his face turned pale, and he stood there stiffly, not daring to move. It was as if he were holding not a harmless little animal, but Professor Snape's Animagus.

"I've really had enough..."

After class, as Kyle left the classroom, he overheard him complaining to his friend.

"That lizard smelled exactly like Professor Quirrell. Did it eat garlic every day...? And now that smell must have gotten on me too!"

Ugh, that's disgusting... I hope the cleansing spell works, otherwise I'll have to buy a new school uniform."

Kyle instinctively sniffed; he did indeed smell of garlic, though not as strongly as Quirrell. Plus, they had just come from a Defense Against the Dark Arts class, so not many people noticed.

With that smell, it's no wonder he wanted to change to a new school uniform.

The group walked quickly past him, and when they reached the second floor, Kyle suddenly stopped.

He turned to the group of people beside him and asked, "I'm going to the library, do you want to come along?"

"No, no."

Mikel and Ryan shook their heads repeatedly.

Kyle wasn't surprised; aside from doing homework, they usually avoided the library.

"I'm not going either." Kanna thought for a moment and shook her head. "I'm currently reviewing Professor Snape's notes, which will be checked at Christmas. I don't have time to read anything else."

"Snape's notes?"

Kyle's eyes lit up. "Could I borrow it to take a look... Don't worry, I'll make a copy. It won't take up much of your time."

He received Professor Flitwick's Charms class notes last year, which contained not only Professor Flitwick's unique understanding of Charms, but also many practical tips for application.

This knowledge, which wasn't in the textbooks, benefited him immensely; it was the kind of valuable knowledge that even Galleon couldn't buy.

"Well, of course you can see it if you want," Kanna said without hesitation. "You go to the library first, and I'll make a copy for you when I get back."

However... be careful when you read this, lest Professor Snape finds out; he forbids me from sharing it."

Kanna's expression was a little strange as she spoke.

In fact, when Snape gave her this notebook, besides instructing her not to divulge it, he also specifically mentioned someone's name.

She just didn't dare say it in front of the person in question.

"Don't worry, Professor Snape definitely won't find out," Kyle patted his chest and assured him, "I'm the most discreet person at Hogwarts."

"Besides..."

Kanna continued, "My Gemino Curse isn't as good as yours, so it'll probably only last about a week. You'd better watch out quickly."

Kyle didn't seem to care about this issue either.

He has Quick-Quotes Quill, so he can easily copy it all over. It won't take a week; half a day will be enough.

After making their decision, Kanna and the other two returned to the common room, while Kyle turned a corner and headed straight for the library.

There are quite a few young wizards at Hogwarts who enjoy reading, and even though class has just ended, the library is almost full.

Kyle also saw the Gryffindor trio sitting at a table near the door, next to a tall stack of books.

Kyle glanced at them instinctively.

It's not surprising that Hermione is here; she practically treats the library like her dorm, coming here almost every day.

But Harry and Ron are different.

Their situation was similar to that of his two roommates; they were the type who avoided the library and rarely appeared here.

What surprised Kyle even more was that there were no parchment or quills on their table, so they were obviously not doing homework.

Is he really here to read books? That's quite rare.

However, Kyle didn't say much, simply greeted the three of them, and then walked towards Madam Pince.

"Harry ..."

Watching Kyle's retreating figure, Ron suddenly whispered, "What do you think about us asking Kyle? If it's him, he might know who Nicolas Flamel is."

"No!"

Before Harry could even speak, Hermione immediately objected, "This is too dangerous. Don't forget, Snape tried to kill Harry last time. We can't let Kyle get involved."

"Yes... Hermione is right." Harry hesitated for a moment before nodding as well.

He also felt it was better not to tell Kyle about it, and besides, Ron's words were just a guess.

Even if Kyle is very smart, that doesn't necessarily mean he knows who Nicolas Flamel is.

Hermione is a prime example.

"Okay, I was just saying," Ron shrugged. "If you don't agree, then forget it."

While the group was discussing, Kyle borrowed the book he wanted and prepared to leave the library.

As Kyle passed by the trio, Kyle suddenly noticed that they were looking at him strangely.

The smile looked fake, and even a little awkward.

Seeing myself... awkward?

Are they out of their minds, or is there something wrong with these people's mental state?

Kyle, puzzled, frowned and then quickly left the library.

Although I don't know what happened, it's best to stay away from them for safety's sake.

Hermione is a prime example. She was such a nice girl, but ever since she got close to them, she's started acting strangely.

Horrible!

Back in the common room, Kyle first found Kanna and obtained Snape's notes.

It wasn't very thick, about the same thickness as what Professor Flitwick gave him, and it didn't seem to be all of it.

"Whatever you do, don't let Professor Snape find out," Kanna warned again, "Or I'll get yelled at."

Don't worry.

Kyle took the laptop and found a quiet spot to sit down.

Instead of looking at the notes first, he opened the book he had borrowed from the library.

Legendary Alchemy Items

Upon opening the book, the first page is about the Self-Stirring Cauldron.

This thing was mentioned in last year's History of Magic; its appearance greatly increased the success rate of Potions and reduced the possibility of accidents.

It can be considered of great significance.

Behind the Self-Stirring Cauldron are Broomstick, Sneakoscope, Time-Turner, and more...

Kyle wasn't interested in any of that; he quickly flipped through the book and soon found what he needed.

Philosopher's Stone!
