Back at the castle, Kyle tossed the pear branches he had gathered into the common room and then went back to working on the boxes.

In order to save time, Kyle even finished all his homework in just two days, and also handed over the task of processing the pear tree branches to Cedric and others.

They did it once last year, so they're very familiar with the process and there shouldn't be any problems.

After explaining everything, Kyle seemed to disappear, not even returning to the Great Hall during mealtimes.

No one could find him, and no one knew where he was. He would only make a brief appearance in the common room before curfew each day, and then disappear again early the next morning.

This continued until the start of the school year.

While having breakfast that day, Cedric looked at the drowsy Kyle and asked curiously, "Where have you been these past few days? I couldn't find you anywhere in the castle."

"Seventh Floor..."

Kyle yawned and said, "There's a special room in the corridor over there, right across from the Troll tapestry. It can transform into any room you need, and you don't have to worry about being discovered by anyone else."

"I've been there for the past few days."

"There's such a magical place inside the castle?" Kanna exclaimed in surprise.

"This is Hogwarts, after all..."

After a moment's thought, Cedric said, "I've heard that there's a mysterious room on the Seventh Floor. It's unpredictable; some people go in and see a luxurious bedroom, while others see a storage room piled with garbage... Everyone's experience is different."

And I remember Fred and George saying that they had hidden in a broom shed on the Seventh Floor to avoid Filch, but when they went to look for it again, the place was gone.

"That broom shed wouldn't happen to be the room you were talking about, would it?"

"That's right, it's the Room of Requirement."

Kyle, eating a piece of biscuit, said, "They wanted to hide, so the room became a broomhouse, but if you want to practice magic, it becomes a spacious classroom."

"This is amazing..." Cedric's eyes lit up. "Can I go and see? Can it turn into Quidditch training ground, the kind where I can practice catching the Golden Snitch?"

"I want to go too," Kanna said quickly. "I've always wanted to find a place where no one will bother me to practice Potions."

"Either way is fine. Just silently think of what you want and walk back and forth in the corridor three times, and you'll see the door."

Kyle thought for a moment, then added, "But... if someone is inside, that place can't be used, unless you're in the same room."

Cedric's eyes grew brighter and brighter, and in the end, he didn't even eat his meal. He stood up and ran up to the Seventh Floor.

"Aren't you going?" Kyle asked, looking at Kanna who was drinking Pumpkin Juice.

"Didn't you say that only one person can use that place?" Kanna shook her head and said, "Let him go first. I can use the empty classrooms. There's no rush."

"Oh, right..."

At that moment, Kanna suddenly remembered something and continued, "A few days ago, a Gryffindor freshman came looking for you many times."

"Gryffindor?" Kyle frowned.

His first thought was the trio, since he didn't know any other Gryffindor freshmen besides the three of them.

"Hmm, a girl named Hermione Granger." Kanna looked up and said slowly, "And she seemed pretty angry... You didn't tell her you were going to use the Killing Curse for the Sorting, did you?"

"Of course not, I went straight to Professor Sprout's office as soon as I arrived at the castle, I didn't see any new students at all."

"And..." Kyle glanced at Kanna and muttered under his breath, "Do you think everyone's like you, so naive, believing everything you hear..."

Before he could finish speaking, a roasted potato flew over.

Kyle casually caught the "weapon" that Kanna threw at him, peeled off the skin, and took a bite.

"So, Hermione didn't say why she wanted to see me?"

"No." Kanna glared at him and said angrily, "But Fred and George said they strongly object to the Exam-Passing Talisman you created. You probably came to see me about that, right?"

"Oh..." Kyle nodded in realization.

Hagrid probably let it slip again; given Hermione's current personality, it's understandable that she would object.

However, Kyle didn't care, since he didn't care about Gryffindor; the ones who should be worried were Fred and George.

After breakfast, the two went to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom together.

After the start of the new semester, Professor Quirrell looked even worse than before; his face was completely bloodless and terrifyingly pale.

Many people gradually came to believe that he was indeed cursed by the Revenant Zombie, and they stopped mocking his stutter. These days, when they encountered Professor Quirrell on the street, they would even give him an encouraging smile.

Even Fred and George were the same.

One day, during a gathering at the Room of Requirement, Fred exclaimed, "Quirrell, cursed by Revenant Zombie, dares to become a Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts? He's the real Gryffindor!"

"His courage is thicker than that ridiculous scarf."

"And to be surrounded by the smell of garlic all year round..." Qiu shuddered and said, "If it were me, I probably would have gone crazy by now."

Cedric glanced at the twins and chuckled, "I remember you two used to throw snowballs at him, didn't you?"

"We feel very guilty about this..." George said, feigning seriousness. "If Professor Quirrell is still alive when the school year ends, we will apologize to him."

"Why do we have to wait until the end of the school year...?" Qiu asked, puzzled. "Can't we do it now?"

"What if he has another identity?" Fred shook his head. "Don't forget he's the Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts. Before the end of the school year, no one can guarantee he'll be alright."

"Just like Oren last year..."

George glanced at Kyle and said quietly, "What a great professor! Humorous and witty in class, easygoing outside of class. I never imagined it was all an act."

"We trusted him so much back then, and to protect his image as a professor, we were even willing to turn against Ravenclaw..."

"But it was all a lie, he broke our hearts..."

Fred and George became increasingly upset as they talked, and they were almost about to hug each other and burst into tears.

Kyle smiled and shook his head, thinking that the two of them simply liked that Oren didn't collect homework.

Despite Quirrell's current unsteady gait, making him look like he might fall at any moment, he remains incredibly meticulous about his homework and checks it very rigorously.

Two feet is not an inch less, not even a letter written too large is acceptable.
