Background

Blind Man is an orphan whose real name has been forgotten, even by himself. Blinded by eye disease as a child, he survived by fighting wild dogs for food and enduring abuse from others. This upbringing left him vicious, taciturn, and exceptionally ruthless. 2

He became Lu Chen's foremost enforcer and one of his closest companions. After Yao Dalong attempted to rob the injured Lu Chen, Blind Man ordered the killings of both Yao Dalong and his son, arguing that leaving a future enemy alive would invite revenge. Lu Chen upheld his decision. 2

Lu Chen later taught him the three moves of Plum Blossom Fist and gave him a gourd of Secret Medicine so that he could temper his body and properly begin martial training. 10
