Nine Provinces Heavenly Treasure Divine Talismans

The Nine Provinces Heavenly Treasure Divine Talismans, also called Nine Provinces Tokens, grant their holders authority over a province and access to the Dharma Domain. 922 927

History

The Nine Provinces Dharma Domain was established in antiquity to suppress the eighth-rank Nine-Headed Demon Dragon and safeguard the human realm's central region. Over time, upheavals of heaven and earth weakened parts of the domain, allowing the imprisoned Demon Emperor's scales to escape and damage its formations. 545

During the Heaven-Human Covenant Assembly, the Nine Provinces faced the Dragon Scale Association and Sky Shark Alliance in a high-level contest between human cultivators and sea demons. Gao Xian's defeat of Liu Sanxiang prevented a demon incursion, while the ensuing Heaven-Human Covenant secured two thousand years of peace for the Nine Provinces. 795 809 810

Gao Xian later received recognition from the Nine Provinces Cauldron and left his name in the Dharma Domain's central nexus. This gave him substantial empowerment within the Nine Provinces and enabled his advancement to Pure Yang within its bounds. 842 843 889

After becoming lord of You Province, Gao Xian used the You Province Token to suppress disorder across its thirty-six counties, where demon attacks, sect conflicts, and evil-spirit incidents had erupted after Northern Dark's fall. 927 930 His later campaigns against demons and demonic cultivators extended through Wind Province, Origin Province, Peace Province, and Mountain Province. 968

As the epoch-ending calamity approached, the Nine Provinces became the focal point of competing factions because of its status as the human realm's hub.
