Overview

A Golden Core is formed after Foundation Establishment, when the Spirit Aperture, Essence Aperture, and Qi Aperture unite and give rise to a pellet-like divine light that is hard as gold. 293

It represents the unity of form and spirit. Golden Core cultivators possess profound mana and refined divine sense, enabling them to wield spells, divine abilities, Dharma artifacts, and sword artifacts at far greater power. 272

The Golden Core is formless and intangible for human cultivators. Demonic beasts instead possess tangible crystal cores, which grant stronger bodies and mana but restrict them more heavily to their innate bloodline abilities. 212

Formation

Golden Core formation is a life metamorphosis guided by divine sense and supported by spiritual energy, but its ultimate foundation is the cultivator’s own vitality. Greater life force improves the transformation and raises the quality of the resulting Core. 300

The formation process resembles internal alchemy: the cultivator treats the body as a furnace, Qi as medicine, and the Five Elements as the means of refining the Core. 331

Grades

Golden Cores are divided into nine grades, with First Grade as the highest and Ninth Grade as the lowest. They are commonly grouped as Upper Three, Middle Three, and Lower Three Grades. 188

A First Grade Golden Core can grant a lifespan of approximately 1,400 years, compared with roughly 800 years for an ordinary Golden Core cultivator. 334

Sword Core

A Sword Core is a Golden Core formed from pure sword intent. It controls sword qi, amplifies sword artifacts, and demands an exceptionally singular path of cultivation. 363
